For anyone in Melbourne, 80's techno pop icons Pseudo Echo will be performing along with support from The Greenmatics (that's us) @ Rubys Lounge in Melbourne, Friday 9th November.
We made a video for 'I Love Technology'....
It was made with 3 digicams on tripods and edited on a laptop with a budget of $0.
If you can't see it on here, go to - www.youtube.com/thegreenmatics

It was made with 3 digicams on 3 tripods and edited on a laptop, with a budget of $0.00, unless you count the $$ spent on beers....
(not sure if the video will embed in here, so you can check it out at www.youtube.com/thegreenmatics)

Ello,
We've got some gigs coming up in Melbourne, details are on www.thegreenmatics.com
Our EP is also finished and will be released in NZ and Australia in a couple of weeks or so.... if you wanna have a listen to some stuff from the EP, we've got a couple of samples on myspace.com/thegreenmatics
The Greenmatics will soon be lo-fi no more. We're re-recording our EP at our drummer Ant's studio with real live people playing real live instruments... no more dodgy plugins from my laptop and it's sounding HUGE. I'm very excited....
For anyone in Melbourne, we're playing @ The East Brunswick Club on 29th Dec with 'Glovebox', 'Lets Crash Heaven' and Electroid Djs, all the details are on our website.

Hey Tama, nah I'm not going to change my name to Dorothy. If I change it to anything it'd be 'Green' because most people call me that these days.
Glad you liked the video =D
I met Manamana once, he said 'hello' and he was so scary I ran away crying.
JC, if you just posted your real mobile then you're dumber than I thought.
I see you're self-medicating, hehe.
You still have the same email?
Hey Manamana,
Rich kindly offered his services for free, so I guess making a video for a song he enjoys would be better for his sanity since he'd have to listen to it over and over and over and over.

New music video - on tv this week
'The Greenmatics' (formerly 'Emerald Green') have a brand new music video for their song 'Wait No More'. It was made by Wellington music video newbie Richard Robertson for $0.00. You can see the video on C4's Homegrown Late this Thursday, 30th March.
'Emerald Green' are now called 'The Greenmatics'.
Apologies if the website looks weird on certain browsers... I made it myself.
The Melbourne gig will kickstart our "I Love Technology" East Coast Tour of Australia, it's also a double launch gig for ourselves and 'Fluorescent', with guests Polygon Palace and Nathan Ratcliffe (Panic DJ).
The whole tour is in support of our new single 'I Love Technology', which was produced by Brian Canham (pseudo echo frontman). This version of the track is wayyyy different to the one on our 'Out of Limbo' EP and we're gonna put it on our myspace page this Friday (11th July 2008) so you can hear what we're talking about.
See you on the tour!!
