I think that sounded like a too postive review, like I was 14yr old lol.
Also, fuck you guys that form circle pits!! they are just gay, and it always some stupid skinhead in it trying to show off how tough he is, this happened with Anti-Flag, Grinspoon, Shihad, Ratm, and probably others.

Tama Drummer : 22 January 2008 - 5:53pm

My highlights:
Rage Against The Machine - very high energy, what you'd except, its like they never broke up, the mosh pit was insane. Zakk did a anti Bush/US Government speech, which everyone seemed agreed to.

Shihad - Great as always, they got stopped after their first song cos dickheads were trying to get into the D barrier and just causing trouble, band started again about 5 mins later. New songs were alright, one ballady song. They played one song off Churn 'Screwtop' which was cool. Another crazy mosh.

Supergroove - My favourite band when I was young, they played pretty much the same set they did in christchurch, plus 2 of Che Fu's own songs 'Fade Away' & 'Chains', which was alright, cos they gave them more of Supergroove feel.

Grinspoon - 3rd time seeing them, last time I saw them I thought they were boring and had lost their spark. But this time they stepped up and rock out, perhaps cos the singer was drunk? I don't know, but it was cool lol.

Die! Die! Die! - First time they've ever played the main stage, you could tell Andrew was having a blast, smile on his face a lot, jumping into the ground, and throwing his guitar up in the air at the end. I talked to both Andrew & Mikey after, both guys had a blast playing.

Cut Off Your Hands - I liked this band, they had good energy and put on a good show, cool.

Battle Circus - I've been wanting to see this band since I heard the song 'Send in the Clones' a few years ago, they kinda like a heavy Muse. Only problem is their set was tooo short, I think they might have played for maybe 15-20mins, cool anyway.

Think they were my favourites, Anti-Flag were quite entertaining too, I just didn't really get their love thy neighbour attitude, it just got a little bit annoying after a while. They were the reason I didn't see the Bleeders, I thought what the point if I've seen them? and what I heard of Opshop, was meh, boring

Oh yeah the Nightwatchman, I've heard Tom's solo stuff from the Axis Of Justice cd/dvd, not fan, but I got told Serj from SOAD came out like he did for Tool last year, that would have been cool to see

Tama Drummer : 14 January 2008 - 6:24pm

now they're using their music to sell bread on a tv ad!! thats sad man

Tama Drummer : 20 August 2007 - 8:21pm

ohh yes those were the days!! Damn shitspott for breaking up, no longer taking the piss out of their so fans on here lol

Tama Drummer : 20 August 2007 - 11:24am

I just wish somebody killed me when I saw him at the bdo, that was the longest hour of my life, and I want it back!!
Things you have to do to get a good spot for Tool & Muse

Hard Rock Band from Invercargill New Zealand Music is mostly original progressive hard rock.
At the beginning of 2004 A. Fitzgerald and W. Stubbs decided to get a band together to perform at the Nirvana Tribute Gig at local Invercargill venue Tillermans. This wasnt an easy task, but with Baz T. on bass and E-L Sparks on drums, they managed to knock together three Nirvana songs and three of Stubbs originals to play a half hour set that ended on Heart Shaped Box just as most of the audience was beginning to arrive. Luckily, one audience member who saw the whole set, just happened to be a drummer named Jamie Stuck, and was available to replace Sparks when she opted to concentrate on studies instead. The rest of the year saw bass players come and go while only a handful of gigs finished the year off. 2005 saw new hope when auditions began at the start of the study year and Cameron Stevenson was hand picked to play bass. Almost immediately new songs sprang into being and the band became tighter than ever. Many gigs began to come the bands way, including a few in Dunedin (the favourite being with Scurvy Dogs!) as well as supporting Die! Die! Die! in 2005 & Jakob in 2006 on their Invercargill date's. Innominado are currently working on new songs and looking for more gigs outside of Invercargill there seems to be a diminishing amount of venues interested in live bands within their hometown. This is unfortunate, because there is potential for a vibrant scene that allows all bands no matter what their style, to come together and perform and support each other. Innominado, like other bands, may be forced into looking for gigs elsewhere and returning nothing to the home scene that started them off

Band Members
Warwick Stubbs - Vocals, Guitar
Adam Fitzgerald - Vocals, Guitar
Cameron Stevenson - Bass
Jamie Stuck - Drums

Tama Drummer : 7 May 2007 - 3:53pm

that kinda true, Anthony did seem jaded......
Compared to last time, this was a much better concert!!
Better set list, way more energy, I dont see why theres so much bad press about this show (than any other big show), I had fun, and thats the main thing!! I just wish I was closer not in the seats, which was a downer for me

Tama Drummer : 7 May 2007 - 12:28pm

Tama Drummer : 26 April 2007 - 7:39pm
