i just checked my private messages on here, and some random profile was asking for love & wanting me to chat with her.....
Classic, wow nzm has changed into nzdating!! lol
Wow this place is still going? will there be a rebirth?
Yeah I've havn't been lurking at all, just been whoring myself on the networking sites
I think that sounded like a too postive review, like I was 14yr old lol.
Also, fuck you guys that form circle pits!! they are just gay, and it always some stupid skinhead in it trying to show off how tough he is, this happened with Anti-Flag, Grinspoon, Shihad, Ratm, and probably others.
My highlights:
Rage Against The Machine - very high energy, what you'd except, its like they never broke up, the mosh pit was insane. Zakk did a anti Bush/US Government speech, which everyone seemed agreed to.
Shihad - Great as always, they got stopped after their first song cos dickheads were trying to get into the D barrier and just causing trouble, band started again about 5 mins later. New songs were alright, one ballady song. They played one song off Churn 'Screwtop' which was cool. Another crazy mosh.
Supergroove - My favourite band when I was young, they played pretty much the same set they did in christchurch, plus 2 of Che Fu's own songs 'Fade Away' & 'Chains', which was alright, cos they gave them more of Supergroove feel.
Grinspoon - 3rd time seeing them, last time I saw them I thought they were boring and had lost their spark. But this time they stepped up and rock out, perhaps cos the singer was drunk? I don't know, but it was cool lol.
Die! Die! Die! - First time they've ever played the main stage, you could tell Andrew was having a blast, smile on his face a lot, jumping into the ground, and throwing his guitar up in the air at the end. I talked to both Andrew & Mikey after, both guys had a blast playing.
Cut Off Your Hands - I liked this band, they had good energy and put on a good show, cool.
Battle Circus - I've been wanting to see this band since I heard the song 'Send in the Clones' a few years ago, they kinda like a heavy Muse. Only problem is their set was tooo short, I think they might have played for maybe 15-20mins, cool anyway.
Think they were my favourites, Anti-Flag were quite entertaining too, I just didn't really get their love thy neighbour attitude, it just got a little bit annoying after a while. They were the reason I didn't see the Bleeders, I thought what the point if I've seen them? and what I heard of Opshop, was meh, boring
Oh yeah the Nightwatchman, I've heard Tom's solo stuff from the Axis Of Justice cd/dvd, not fan, but I got told Serj from SOAD came out like he did for Tool last year, that would have been cool to see
now they're using their music to sell bread on a tv ad!! thats sad man
ohh yes those were the days!! Damn shitspott for breaking up, no longer taking the piss out of their so fans on here lol
I just wish somebody killed me when I saw him at the bdo, that was the longest hour of my life, and I want it back!!
Things you have to do to get a good spot for Tool & Muse
Sup??
I've turned into more of lurker now, I havent bothered to learn how to use this newer forum yet lol
Im so there if it is the orginal line up!! I missed them live here in 92 cause I was too young, did see them in 96 on the backspacer tour, but that doesnt really count
that kinda true, Anthony did seem jaded......
Compared to last time, this was a much better concert!!
Better set list, way more energy, I dont see why theres so much bad press about this show (than any other big show), I had fun, and thats the main thing!! I just wish I was closer not in the seats, which was a downer for me
Maybe Robin can put on a top hat & people would think he was Slash lol!!
Going to bring ear muffs so you cant hear Axl?? lol
coming from The Rock listeners!!
Just because they didnt play Under The Bridge and had long jams it was terrible??
Fuck them, they were great, they were playing for the real fans, not the radio fans
the one here in Invers, you just stand on the square, dont need to press the button, you have a choice lol
its kinda cool that you dont have to press the button anymore, just stand on the square, but I can see if it rains it would suck
well it is $150...... wonder how many people know that Slash wont be there? and that its only Axl
That really sucks, even thou I've only been/played there once, it seemed liked a really cool popular venue!! shame its gone, what now, the Crown??
why not? hes fuckin hot man!!! lol
Yeah Chili's were $129, so it can't be anymore than that, who would pay more than that to see Axel and hes backing band?? unless your prozaco lol
ugly & not so ungly
well if it was you, I might have been keen lol
