Gibson have created a guitar that can tune itself and can hold up to six different tunings that change at the press of a button. Sounds very Guitar Hero to me. Does this mean that you will soon be able to get your guitar in not only acoustic and electric but automatic and manual? How about a guitar that will play the song for you? Imagine the extra time you could spend posing and looking cool!

Ahh. Curse my classroom Japanese. In my short trip I became really good a saying sumimasen and arigato gozaimasu but that was about it. Except for the time involving the old lady and the chopsticks and noodles in Hiroshima, but that is another story...
By the way, I finally got to have warm edamame. I had to come back home to Wellington, but that thems there are the breaks.

Dude, so that was you I saw at the gym today.

Should the poster not read chiisu suki deska?

After having a quick read of the many takes on the whole 'name your price' thing, it seems a few smaller artists are getting scared. I ask, why? Radiohead can afford to do this because they have luxury of not having to worry too much about income, yes. But it is just an experiment. If such a model did come to fruition, I would imagine most artists would put a lower limit on the price just so that they can at least break even. Even that is exciting. The phenomenon this has created just by people posting in forums about how much they ponied up for the download is generating buzz. Also, sure there are those people that will pay zero but they would just download it anyway. By allowing the purchaser to set the price you have the potential to sway those who download but only because they don't want to shell out $30 for a CD and would rather pay $15. Of course, you then run the risk of losing those that would pay $30 and end up paying $0. But you'll never know unless you take a punt and heck look who is getting all the money.

I just want to experience hearing her voice live. If her show is only 10% of the one on the Live at Cambridge DVD, I'll be happy.

Stefan : 2 October 2007 - 5:46pm

Yeah, Bjork sold it for me. Heather: Daft Punk has been on my list for ages too. Did you see the clip floating around of one of their recent performances in Europe? Freaking fantastic.

Stefan : 1 October 2007 - 6:04pm

It is out on October 10 and Radiohead are releasing it themselves, so no label mess. This also means it won't be in shops yet. You have the choice of a digital download or a discbox which has the album on CD plus another CD with more songs and goodies plus a vinyl copy. If you are willing to part with £40 (incl postage) and willing to wait until 03 December for the physical copy then (digital download on the 10 Oct included) then the disc box is for you. If you are a bit skint on the money then for the digital download you pay...what ever you want! Crazy. I want to see more of this.

teina, your caricature is somewhat disturbing. I feel that if I move your eyes will follow. Chilling.

Stefan : 22 May 2007 - 9:33pm

Damn, once again Adult Swim gives away great music for free. Not too long ago they offered up a great sampling of songs from Definitive Jux and now they have Warm and Scratchy.

Featuring TV on the Radio, Les Savy Fav, The Rapture, Broken Social Scene, Liars ...

Damn.

Try clicking on 'Create Content'?

Stefan : 30 April 2007 - 8:24pm

DVD menus that feel the need to take their time before actually getting to the menu and then proceed to play an annoying soundbite loop, forever scorning you from the original source.

Bitching and moaning. Whoever came up with that should be shot, I have better things to do with my time but someone always gets me with the bitching and moaning. Then you can't stop, it's like Pringles chips but not as salty.

Stefan : 30 April 2007 - 8:21pm

All the more reason for microchipping, I say.

Stefan : 28 April 2007 - 6:16pm

Every year I find myself bitching about the Big Day Out timetable and how they always seem to have two artists clash when it makes no sense for them to be on at the same time. Screw that, I don't know what I would do in this situation:

Actually, I think I would tear in two or my head would explode.
