Our Drummer and very close friend Tristan has decided to focus more intently on other areas of his life, this sadly means calling it a day with us. We will miss him greatly and all agree that it might not ever be the NWH we are all used to. However, we do not plan on stopping!
If you want to give drumming for us a go, PM me and we can arrange a time to check you out. We will supply demos of our newest shit as we are looking for someone who can handle our new direction confidently.
Obviously we are serious so no time wasters aye. Razz.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi everybody,
Finally the confirmed details for Ians instore signing.
The Venue : Atwaters Musicworks 141 Hobson Street, Auckland City, New Zealand
The Time : 2:30pm until 3:30pm
The Date : Thursday April 27th 2006
There will be limited parking onsite. Now, just to note, this isnt a Drum Clinic, it is an instore signing only, so if you have any old Deep Purple Albums / Posters / DVDs etc you would like Ian to sign, then bring them in (not too many as there is a very limited time ! J). For those of you that dont have anything Deep Purple-ish, we will have something here for you to get signed.
This is a really fantastic opportunity to meet one of the worlds most legendary drummers (and a personal favorite of mine !), so Im looking forward to seeing you all in here (some of you may have to take an extended lunch break from work, or call in sick ! J)
Catch you Thursday !

ABOUT THE PLAYERS
Greg Hyatt, BASS
Native Los Angeles bassist Greg Hyatt has been providing the low end to a widely diverse list of musical collaborationssince the early 80’s.His solid brand of groove has earned him a reputation as a top notch touring and recording professional.
Greg attended the Musicians Institute and studied under such bass legends as Jeff Berlin, Steve Bailey and Stu Hamm. His postgraduate studies were with bass guru Gary Willis (Tribal Tech). After establishing a reputation as an up and coming player on the LA scene, he began making his mark as a touring musician with acts such as Zoo People (Atlantic Records), Five Easy Pieces (MCA) and Lapdog (Former members of Toad The Wet Sprocket).
In addition to recording and touring. Greg is a dedicated educator and established the Los Angeles campus of Dayjams, a rock music day camp for kids created by the National Guitar Workshop.
Stan Mitchell, DRUMS
Stan Mitchell figures that over the course of his career he has played every form of popular music (and some unpopular). As a journeyman musician, he not only plays drums but is a songwriter and producer. He has fronted his own band as singer and guitarist and taught his own music/rhythm program in schools.
Stan was born and raised in New Zealand where the lively music scene allowed him to turn Pro at age 17. His extensive playing experience held him in good stead when he and his band, The Drongos, arrived in New York City in the early 1980’s.The band gained a solid foothold in the peaking punk/new wave scene and cemented Stan’s reputation and powerful and very musical drummer.
Since the 1980’s Stan has divided his time between LA and NYC , where he has been much sought after for live and recorded drumming work.
Feel free to tell anyone you think may be interested in this clinic, as we feel these guys have a wealth of knowledge we could all benefit from.
Cheers,
Rom
