Oliver’s Itch is and evolving, dissolving revolving global musical collective centred around the songwriting and worldly adventures of Dublin songwriter Hugh Phelan.
The overall sound objective of Oliver’s Itch is to form – deform and reform on a country by country basis across the world with each version recording at least one song and one video unique to the particular individuals involved so that there will be European, New Zealand, Austrailian, American, African incarnations/interpretations built around each song.
The first 2 Oliver’s Itch songs have been written and recorded in Dublin. The first song ‘The Feast Of Saint Anthony’ is fully recorded and the video for the song is already completed and out in the world the second of the Dublin songs ‘Sold Heart Found’ has the ad-libbed main vocals, rhythm guitar and general structure recorded but will actually be the last song completed to celebrate the culmination of the project
