Chuganaut continue their 11:11 Album Release Tour with an all ages gig at The New Level, 5 Newton Place, Hamilton on Saturday 10th November with local band The Misery and Redline from Auckland.

CHUGANAUT’s debut album 11:11 ONE, released in August 2007, is part one of a double album, 11:11 TWO scheduled for release in 2008 with an extensive north island tour in October/November to promote the album. A south island tour is in the pipeline for 2008 along with an east coast tour of Australia.
With their energetic stage presence, willingness to take that extra bit of effort to put on a good show and taking time to talk with their audience, these four fun loving and dedicated musicians are primed and ready for the next level of their musical career with a view to progressing internationally.
Chuganaut’s long awaited debut album was released at AXCES BAR in Hamilton on Friday 24th August.
The album, simply titled 11:11 ONE is part one of a double album release, with 11:11 TWO being scheduled for release early 2008. Both albums have 11 tracks each, ergo 11:11.
Album ONE is available from CD/DVD Stores, My Music Stores, Tracs, Sounds, CDs 4 Nix, Real Groovy and selected independent stores.
An extensive north island tour to promote 11:11 begins at Milonga Bar in Napier on 5th October and ends at The Pirates Bar in Whangarei on 30th November. Tours of the south island and the east coast of Australia are in the pipeline for 2008.

What kind of music will be played? Will it be hip hop and reggae same as other TV channels think we all want to hear - or - will this finally be the channel that realises there are a lot of hard out alternative/metal fans in New Zealand who WANT TO SEE OUR FAVOURITE METAL BANDS.

My first BDO was awesome and I got there really early. Although I loved SOAD, Grinspoon, Steriogram and the Bleeders, I'd like to make a plug for the opening band, Chuganaut. They were one of the best bands there and made it a great day from start to finish. They apparently had the largest crowd ever for the opening band. I hope to see them again next year.
Can't wait to see you at the BIG DAY OUT - go guys!
