aww crap.. anyone download a bunch of them when they were available and wanna share?
caressa.rocket@gmai.com if y'can help.. chuur ;)
I had a bit of a look round the site but I couldn't find all the real media music videos that sed to be up there ; / Do I just suck at looking (someone please do tell me if this is the case!) or have they been moved somewhere or gone bye byes off the net? they were choice! if they're gone would be cool if they could be put that up again or something like that. anyone know anything?
I turned 20 on the 5th and fuck it was great. hopefully camp will be on the same time next year so I spend celebrate my 21st in the same way!
..aww yeah also, does anymore remember who played 'smells like teen spirit'.. I was lying on a bed in a cabin and heard the intro riff so got up and went inside and it was awesome.. ended up onstage with a whole bunch of other people and the band who were ......
(cheers if anyone knows ;)
ps. go blink, sally and.. well everyone really.. go camp!!!!
www.loudmouth.co.nz is pretty good I reckon. Can search for gigs by band, week, month, town.. its updated a bit too which is sweet.
caressa.rocket at gmail.com
..drop us a line if ya want
wednesday at the valve was pretty sweet ..out of it stuff having the band within metres and less than a metre up. bummer that Jon didn't know more of screwtop but fuck, it was pretty exciting for that short period..
sleater kinney on thursday were awwwwesome. carrie is fucking sweet!! kia ora heather, jon and trixie btw. was cool to see there was so many people at the show. a real good night it was ;)
as for the big day out:
the greenhornes were okay. some of the stuff sounded danceable/moveable to my ears and if I wasn't sitting down I mighta done that. wouldn't mind hearing a bit more to see if they're any good..
what I heard of pluto while waiting for the living end wasn't too bad. good ol' perfectly evil. the living end were alright. kinda learnt that when there's circle pits going on ya can get air simply by standing on the edges.. good stuff
left the living end before they finished to see sleater kinney again who were choice. annoying with the water people spraying the audience when it wasn't even hot/when people were simply waiting (it happened again later on as well ..grizzle.. oh well)
henry rollins talk was really cool. would be keen on hearing more from him. gonna try find some spoken word stuff as well as music he's been involved with
caught the tail end of shihad who were sweet for what I saw.
stooges were wicked. was a bit suck that the guy to my left and guy diagonally behind me to my right ended up on stage and I didn't but oh well... centre against the barrier was really fucken good. had a decent idea of what was going to be played and wasn't disappointed. mike watt went hard out. ron seemed pretty concentrated which was cool. can't remember much of scott..heh, do remember that his playing reminded me of the live in detroit performance though. iggy was good fun.. waving, dancing about and coming into the crowd..
generally a pretty cool day
ps. if anyone recorded any of the shows/sets that I've mentioned (apart from pluto) please drop me a line if your keen on trading. cher (caressa.rocket@gmail.com)
do you know if there's a way of contacting ALT tv (feedback via the website?) about the lack of titles? my aerial sucks and I don't even get tv1 but I've heard that comment about Alt tv before and thought it myself when I have caught bits of it at someone elses house.
hopefully it doesn't die before I get a decent aerial, it sounds kinda interesting.
oops, that was my post (stupid not noticing auto-login..and clicking the wrong reply button)

//I think some orientation controllers underesitmate their auidence and think they are ALL dumb fuck, booze hags, when there are plenty of people who do actually want to see something of interest and not just kill their brain cells on tui.
cher!
the idea that I woulda been part of the (general) target audience of a bomfunk mc's (non)-event if I still went to uni only makes me (that little bit) glader that I decided to stop going.
come on bomfunk cancellation gang of four replacement. come on...
//Of all the bands that suck at Big Day Out this year, would AFI come top of the list, or second to top?
cher ..
//I am relaxed by the way very relaxed. I just don't like pieces of shit like you being sarcastic wankers.
cher .. (just between you and me he doesn't really sound all that relaxed eh..)
we're a little different bro ..like ..I don't believe that the universe was created by an omniscient, omnipotent ruler or any of that shit but..
Peter Griffin - And if you are pure of heart and deed you'll all go to a beautiful place called Heaven.
..I'm yanking you. You just rot in the ground.

// I actually enjoyed Murderdolls band in 2003
yeah same ..heh, I mean they were no Pearl Jam or anything but they were still good fun. lots of energy and an understandable distaste for the sun.
*extended grumble about second announcement* ..Sonic Youth, Pixies, Patti Smith ..where are you! seriously..how fuckin' cool would that lineup be... ; /)!
I f'n rekcon x 2
//you could post here for all of us if it isn't too big...//

What's this lyric from?
"I sold my soul for control.. over you"
I'm pretty sure it's a New Zealand song and I can't find it on youtube or google :(
