Dragonforce are great, Herman is a shred machine and the other guitarist, Sam Totman, is arguably just as good....and he's a kiwi. As for top guitarists, its too hard to name just 5, so i'm not even gonna try...

I dont have this on good authority but i heard bowling for soup heard "leather and tattoos" and were taking the piss. I have no idea if thats true or not, doesnt seem to feasible but its all publicity for 48 may. Good on them i say.

Yea i think they should share the prizes around a bit more, copious, resonate bi bi blint all deserved something cos they are great bands, but alot of the prizes went to one group. Maybe that group deserved them more, but it just seems a shame for such great talent to go un-reckognised.
Maybe they need more prizes.
The emcee was really good this year, nice crowd interaction. SOund mixing could have done with a tweak here and there but i dont really know what i'm talking about, it just sounded funny sometimes,

Is it really, sorry i didnt know what the original name of some little-known New Zealand band was before suggesting it to my own band. Maybe next time I'll contact all the bands in the world and ask them what all the different names they've been called are, just to make sure I dont offend any Know-It-Alls who have nothing better to do than surf the classified forum looking for people to harras

That Paul Ellis character really gets on my nerves. His comments dont even make sense. yeah, i was at the rhcp gig, they really did sounds good, i'd heard rumours that anthony sings off key live, but he sounded fine to me. I didnt really like western springs as a venue though, i like to be closer to the bands, and chilli-bin tickets were way too expensive
