p.s. How can you possibly reject the notion that we live in an Americanised society? Wake up and smell the cheeseburgers dude. Fashion, music, food, pretty much every aspect of our society is adopted from America, and to a lesser degree, the UK - I don't know about you but I can't remember the last time I sat down with the whanau and got stuck into a hangi. You say our music isn't original - we never said it was. We're the first to admit that the music we like influences the music we play. Show me a band thats any different. You also say we'll have to reach further into our grab-bag of tricks to impress you - I'd be kinda gutted if you were impressed - by the sounds of it you don't in any way fit into the demographic that we try to appeal to.
So you don't like our music - sweet. We don't surround ourselves with fawners and sycophants - people who do like our music are naturally inclined to affiliate themselves with us... I don't call them fawners the same way that I don't call you a fuckin asshole. you're either a fan or your not. Different strokes for different folks dude.

Well, the FightBack Tour is over... not a dry eye in the house at coromandel last night... HUUUUGE thanks to Goodnight Nurse (not the invercargill one - the Auckland one).
