The guy at handprints in Welly is pretty good - heaps cheaper if you buy your own t-shirts, then there's a set-up fee for the design.. but then any time you want more shirts, you just pay per shirt, no more set up etc

Dammit! Knew there was 1 more email I had to send last night. No gig for me :o(

Once there was a drummer named n_ominae
In Alabaster theatre he once did play
Missing quite liked their sound
and the tunes that went down
Tho her camera flash got in the way!

The pix got burned to CD
She gave them to dear old Dunc-y (sorry Duncan!)
For the band site
Dunc said use them, he might
But results she is yet to see

So now, n_ominae moved far away
Missing ain't seen him for many a day
The questions remain
Will the band sound the same
When the new kids burst on-stage to play???

... C'mon! Poems get extra points - Jon Jr said! And I'd even make an exception to the rules and go out on a school night
Have a good gig guys!

Was it just me, or was the sound UTTER SHIT the whole night? Seriously, when you have to pick the Blindspott song by the bass line, cos that's all you can hear fromt he stands, it ain't good. Yes, we had fun, ... yes, I'm glad someone else paid $100 for my ticket. Visually, i was impressed - cos I'm not clever enough to even ride a bike, let alone flip it. The echo pissed us off thru the entire show, kinda tarnishing a good night out. I thought after the Mr Diamond fiasco, sound techs may have done something to make it better *RANT*

Lots of interviews ... and Video clips with "LIVE" scrawled across the top. HUllo?!?! They HAD cameras in the stadium, why not show those of us who couldn't go some LIVE music that actually IS live???
Very dissapointing

Would you believe my boss was So paranoid after this morning's quake, that she wouldn't let me take the kids on the motorway!!! Do you have ANY idea how LONG it takes to get from Karori to Lower Hutt, without going on the Motorway?!?!?!?!?!?!?! With the tired, shitty kids in the car *sigh* thank god we have a long w/e to recover

It's a weird feeling when your lil sis ends up sleeping with the guy you hooked up with not more than 2 months before. Esp when it happens at your house. But, i guess you get over it - like, she's still our lil sis, he's still yuor mate ... just make a point of seeing them . spending time with them seperately if it really bothers you *shrug*

I don't know much about street promo crews, but another option may be to contact Student job search and hire some of their people for a few hrs? Thinking leaflet drops etc

Yup, fully agree that NZ music is hot all year round :o) Music month is a cool way to recognise the talent we have in Aoteroa.
Now I just have to get my A into G and GET TO more gigs!

OH MY GOD! It just dawned on me that NZ music month is almost over, and I'm yet to attend a single gig ... Oh dear! Oh dear!!!

How about we make EVERY month NZ Music month, then people like me have a chance to redeem ourselves.
Hm ... NZ music year?
