he'd probably snigger at them, satisfied with his little joke
How happy is the moron?
He doesn't give a damn.
I wish I were a moron.
My god! Perhaps I am.
if that's the story they're peddling then i'd say it's a lie to cover up illicit needle use.
eeeew CG in music videos (or practically anywhere, for that matter) is so tacky.
best band that opened for the bats last night: minisnap
third time i've seen them and they just keep getting better. Beautiful, infectious, hook laden indie pop.
they should make it legal to administer abuse to any kid u see beeing bad. I saw these kids smoking in the park opposite my housethe other day so i grabbed my cricket bat, charged over there and gave em a right proper beating. They'll never smoke again thats for sure (they CANT after their jaw has been shattered after a few good blows to the side of the face from mr Gray Nicholls)
I'm in chch. I'll go talk to the guys @ echo and galaxy, they're all pretty good. I have a feeling that penny lane (original name) a record store near me has some stuff as well. I wonder what something like a tally ho first run costs.
anyone here collect old Flying Nun singles? I bought my first one while up in wellington for the White Stripes (Mainly Spaniards - That's What Friends are For). I'm interested in talking to collectors about prices and demand and stuff.
Anyone here interested in gathering up a few stereos and listening to the flaming lips 4 disc album "zaireeka"? I figured now would be a good time for this, considering their upcoming performance @ the BDO.
Zaireeka is a 4 disc album, designed for 1, 2, 3, or 4 discs to be played simultaneously. The idea is kinda to create a sound environment in the room, with 4 stereos each playing different tracks which combine, slightly differently every time, to create a unique listening experience.
The trouble is you need 4 stereos, and i'm having trouble finding 1 person who likes the lips enough to bother with this.
I think this sounds like a pretty good idea. Anyone interested post here or pm me (msn samserif@hotmail.com ICQ# 27649467)
boldersacks ur a complete moron. In it's short lifespan (what? 25 years, compared to about 40 - 45 for rock) hip hop has seen an amazing amount of development. Gangsta rap could be compared to punk for the amount of impact it had on that genre. I personally don't think there's the same variety in rap music as there is in rock, but rock's been around longer. I'm sure in another 15 years hip hop will still be going strong, while rock music seems to be in decline :/
Jackass is brilliant, but it aint directed by spike jonze- he's the producer, or executive producer or something. he appears in a couple of clips from it too.
i guess it kinda depends on what kind of music you play. for example there is not much of a punk scene in chch. I don't really know much about which cities have which scenes, but perhaps someone else does?
how can you be a hillbilly (theyre generally found in the south right?) and a yankee at the same time???
i dunno about zwan. I think Billy Corgans seriously trying to make good music, but is finding himself outdated. He brought in some sweet musicians (eg the guitarist from slint) but almost rmeoved them from the mix :(
i hope all these small independent bands go on most wanted. People need their musical tastes broadened.
You'll never fight tha (lol) big labels domination of the music industry with that attitude
i thoguth the brunettes first album was cool. The pathetic "issues" based Boy Racer EP warrants more then just twink.... perhaps BOILING twink?
ahahaha rubicon are the most twink-deserving-of artist in the country. Yes this includes carly binding.
twink out hippies who think noone should ever make a bad comment about anything.
great show
