ditto
somehow it doesn't sound that interesting, but its great!
hi i'm boring and well...i think exams are better than the ncea internal type of assessment. yes, exams suck but then they're over and holidays far outweigh a bit of socialising given up for the damn things.
he's a singer man singing about being a stalker man. so...both!
haha, the girl whose job i took over had two tattoos of asian characters. we were in the dairy one day during the "handover" and a woman said "oh you've got my name tattooed on you!" and the girl says "yes, it means good luck and that one means happiness" and the woman laughed. if it wasn't so funny i would have felt really sorry for her.
weeeetbix with soymilk and banana. mmm-mmmmm. on the weekends, i like to have roasted's french toast - as does heather, heh.
you want us to...google shit bands? google is a shit band?
i always find its helpful when making terrible over-arching statements to provide information about what one DOES like, in order to set one's taste in some kind of diametric opposition to those fond of the "shit bands".
then again, this kind of topic is shit itself, so whatever.
i wouldn't call myself a fan, but i don't waste energy on things i dont' mind.
actually libra, i'd be very surprised if, though holmes will most likely stay on the air, he's not severely reprimanded and more controlled from now on.
an over-reaction? you are kidding, right? for one of our most high-profile newspeople to be racist and bigoted? i dont' think so.
we definitely aren't as bad as some places overseas, but unfortunately, money talks and that's beginnign to be the case in nz. about ten-ish years ago tvnz brought in some american consultants to help them figure out how to be more successful, and a lot of the stuff we are seeing happen to our media now is related to that. this is not just related to holmes but the political content of news programming in general - in order to get more ratings teh focus has turned from journalism's role as the fourth estate to being more human interest focussed. its sad, but its true. i suggest the internet as an alternative - reading mainstream and alternative (such as indymedia) news and drawing your own conclusions.
he stays employed because people watch his show, he gets the ratings and he makes money for the stations he is employed by. he stays employed becuase he has power and has been around for a long time, becuase he's successful and because despite the fact that many people hate him, many people like him as well. however, if anyone noticed, helen clark and associated people have been shocked and embarrassed by his comments and there is disciplinary action taking place.
i would be upset if a band or singer i didn't like covered a song i love and didn't do it justice, but really, aren't there better things to worry about than what avril is doing/covering? leave the girl alone! whether you think she's got talent or not, whether she writes her own songs, whether she is pretty, unique, WHATEVER, she's successful in a very tough market and i'd MUCH rather have her than one of the all-cast-from-the-same-mould blonde girls like atomic kitten et al. her songs are catchy, and i like some of them. plus, she's not going anywhere very fast, so maybe deal, and direct your energy somewhere else.

it was good to meet you though and be able to wish you a happy birthday over some very nice food at a very nice place!
did you run for editor? if not, leave those who are trying to work really hard to please an extremely diverse and demanding student population with a new magazine EVERY WEEK alone.
its very trusting of you to base your personal style - and by style, i mean the physical image you present to the world at large - around the opinions of people you haven't met and might not even know.
and such a great princess you were! and heather a wonderful evil queen in THAT DRESS! and i, just a mere jem pirate.
saturday was a day where i was VERY ILL.
yes i agree with koe! blue blue blue!!
you don't have light blonde hair so you won't have a blue-rinse looking disaster like my friend kim did in high school - twas awful!
i'd shave my hair off again...i really liked it super short but my new boss isn't keen. DAMMIT.
