I had to smirk when I read in a kiwi music mag one of the guys lamenting the fact that the movie they cut a single for 'was supposed to do 70 million, but only did 7.'

When I first got 'Closer' I listened to it a couple of times. One lyric stuck out, can’t remember which, but I promptly stopped the track and haven’t listened to Joy Division since. Too depressing.
Aside from the gay backing vocals I think it's pretty good.
