//what more could you expect from a competition sponsored by coke a cola?

Who gives a fuck if it's a corporate sponsored event...do you think the MTV awards don't have major corporate sponsors...what about all of our local competitions??? "Export Gold Battle of the Bands", Juice TV awards, b-net awards even....
It's not about where they got the money to fund such a huge benchmark for the NZ music scene...It's about the opportunity's, experience and the confidence our young bands attain from it.

//don't let it go to your heads. it don't mean shit in the real world.

FALTER...I believe you guys have an amazingly marketable product, your music is true and full of passion, and you've got the live performance to back it up. Let it go to your head for a while!!! You boys have worked hard over the last few years...don't stop 'til you get enough!!!
...and it does mean shit in the real world!! Mark my words....we will all be singing along to Falter songs in months/years to come.

New Zealand needs?.....
- Acceptance, LOVE and a common understanding/appreciation of music, art and vibrance.
- A flourishing music scene in which there are more platforms for rising artists.
- (In turn)...More jobs in the industry.
- A new national anthem "I recently attended a GE FREE protest rally and they made us sing "God defend NZ"...it seemed wrong.
- Again....LESS RUGBY!!
- Again...more LOVE
...I believe we have the power to gain freedom and awareness through bondage.
(?)
/m/

Voltron : 27 September 2003 - 3:47pm

wurd....

Voltron : 26 September 2003 - 4:22pm

Also, you must take a moment to consider...how many of the other bands would be here/there/anywhere with their sound if Metallica didn't make their valid contribution to the masses of creative minds around the globe?

Voltron : 26 September 2003 - 4:05pm

What a lame-o....I bet your ass we'll see you among the masses checking out the mighty force that is Metallica. They will be huge. Who gives a fuck if they aren't packing out venues in the states (Although I'd like to view your source) The fact is, they haven't been here for years and New Zealand will lap them up, I'll see you there with the other 25,000 kats who are there just to say "I've seen Metallica". I saw them at the Supertop in 1998. They were fuckin wicked!!! Played heaps of their 80's styles.
They aren't my driving force to get there though..I'm there to see THE MARS VOLTA and A PERFECT CIRCLE!!!!!!! Black Eyed Peas will be primo too...

Voltron : 25 September 2003 - 7:15pm
