it is the parents job in life to protect their children from such weirdos as the person who started this thread. the friends dad is doing a great job in bringing up his child in a safe and well controlled manner. i think the world needs more of his kind of 'hands on' attitude towards growing up. Perhaps if there were more like him around we can stop the ever increasing amounts of anarchy we have to deal with on a daily basis. the three best principles you can have whilst trying to develop a well balanced child are as follows...
1.Fear - creating and instilling a world of fear into your child at an early age is vital to maintain control over his/her life
2. Firm discipline- to rule over the household with an iron fist. this principle is also closely linked to fear.
and lastly principle number
3. brainwashing - all the opinions and values your child is to have in later life, you must create them for them early on.Whether it is your religious or political beliefs you can force them into the same thought patterns if you start early enough. a good way to do this is to start subtly like haveing a tape deck at teh ready which you play quietly next to them as they go to sleep. it works.
carl is exactly right.thrashing and fast isn't heavy. the riffs on the black album are heavier than pretty much all their other riffs. load and reload don't count because they suck. the black heavy is heavy there are songs that aint so heavy like sandman, nothing else etc etc but sad but true is probably their heaviest riff.

theres a big difference between heavy and playing fast. sad but trues guitar sounds are heavier than blackened...motorbreath is my favourite song but ride the lightning is my favourite album and i think jstice has quite possibly the shittiest production ever...... question...tell me what other bands you consider heavy?
