Am Looking for the tabs for Bic Runga's all fall down. It's on The Suddenly Strange single but they don't distribute it anymore. I'm also a 20yr old female with a decent set of vocal chords (at least my mum reckons). I'm in the Auckland area, and would really like to join a band. If it can be sung, I'll sing it. Love Kiwi Music...and any other music for that matter. Will sing ANYTHING- punk, rock, jazz, country, blues, soul etc. Email: blindasabat_girl@hotmail.com

I love Crowded House. Always have, always will. I remember listening to them when I was about 7 and have loved them ever since. For me personally though, I will always think of them as a kiwi band. Just my perception too- Neil was the heart and soul, and from him came the music and that's what counts. I'm not saying this to ruffle any feathers, that's just my personal opinion. I can't separate them from many a memory I have where they've been my inspiration and soundtrack, so regardless of all of the whole Aussie-Kiwi rivalry, you cannot deny the sheer brilliance of this band. They were, and remain to this day, one of those untouchable points of light in an otherwise dim musical existence (i.e. all that other crud that the labels try to market as 'music'.) I love them to bits. Also, for you Auckland fans...May 31st....Finn bro 'hooley'....don't miss this....you will kick yourself into next year, as I am doing from last year...

Well what can I say about these guys from Wellington? They kick some serious arse and they play an amazing live set. Was absolutely gutted when I heard they split and cried (sort of) for a week. I have heard rumours of a post split weta re emerging from the ashes, but without Bolli to thump away at the drums, or Gabe to just be there, I'm not sure what to think. Their dynamic as a group is breathtaking, and to them I remove my hat. Weta will be sorely missed. Geographica is a bloody awesome album, and Calling on rocks..... you do your thing Tookie!!!!! And Aaron looks really nice too......

I saw them live at the Auckland town hall on the Shihad tour and I've got to say, they are easily one of the best kiwi bands out there. Julia Deans has an amazing voice that sounds even better live. For those of you in the South Island, go check out the Shihad Tour...You will be kicking yourself into next year if you don't, it's one of the best triple bills you will ever see!!!!
