Hey, anybody know where i can find a copy of the sub-mariners remix of something good? has it been released anywhere? ANYWHERE?
Once again I'd like to express my thanks, this weekend I'll turn all these wonderful thoughts (plus some other things) into seminar. Ill letcha all know if I pass!
Hey, I'm doing a 7th form Media Studies assignment on the evolution of NZ Music from 1993-2003 and i need a bit of help gathering some info from people who were around when I was a bit younger and didn't know too much.
I Need to Know:
1) What and who was popular between '93 and '98, what was the scene like, what bands dominated the scene etc etc
2) I need two organisations or individuals who influenced the industry to form to the greatness it is now (ie, who started the big nz music hype in recent years?)
3) and where you people see nz music going in the future...
4) anything else would be great
cheers guys, it's a little hard to find some of this info just lying around
Hey all, have a look around my website, Its all about downbeat and trip-hop music from around the world, Its got roots to Kiwi artists like Salmonella Dub, Dimmer, Strawpeople, Pitch Black and a bunch of international artists too. Have a flick thru the messageboard, theres some downloads there too, and a few interviews, (an interview with shayne carter is on its way, as he HAS agreed to do it)
I have a page on Strawpeople at my website if anyone's interested, hope to ask Casserley for an interview at some stage to ask some stuff about the tew album, there should be a dimmer interview there in the next couple of days also!
My website has some pages on Dimmer, and I contacted him recently to ask if he would be interested in doing an interview there, AND HE AGREED! so expect to see it on my site in a few days, Ive asked him some questions about the new album too, so keep an eye out!!!!
Yup, passed, somehow it managed to go on for 15 mins, I even had a P-Money video ready if I needed to fill in time. I passed and the teacher loved it (as far as I could tell) I managed to quote a few of you as well. Dunno how I would have gone without you guys, but you sure gave a fuckload of help, that I'm grateful for.
