fergie makes me want to throw up. she is horrid. vile. i thought alanis' video was pretty damn funny. not as funny as cat macros, which i'm totally obsessed with right now, but still funny.
I dont have much to offer but love and cookies... but if I can help, let me know!
Maybe it's time we published an article on those damn kids with their wheelie boards?
Or Rock Music?
MGB and Matt's solo work.. totally some of my favourite music of all time. Absolutely fucking love his work as a musician, an artist, a photographer and a writer.
Matthew Good Band. His symbol was Victory Through Sheer Volume and he had the Arsenal cannon (Matt is a huge Arsenal fan).
They're not together anymore but Matt is making a new album now... his 3rd studio album as a solo artist I do believe. He's awesome and a SWELL GUY.
it's a disgusting site. i've seen it. a lot of my colleagues have too. it's pretty rank.
remember when split enz toured and didn't come to nz?
yeah. if that happens with crowded house i will be a very... very... VERY sad panda.
I agree. More screens. Especially if they're going to cram as many people into the stadium like that. Having just the one which was blocked by all the big structures in a LOT of places was a pain in the arse.
I didn't see Scribe... but uh... he's probably sold more albums in NZ than a lot of the bands on the main stages...? Maybe? That's perhaps why? I dunno if that's true, but it's my best guess.
Ok. My 25 cents.
1. Eskimo Joe were fucking awesome and well worth turning up early. You may mock, I know they're not cool, but I love them and WILL FIGHT YOU TO THE DEATH!
2. The Immortals Lounge was awesome because it was hot.
3. Lily Allen was spectacular
4. Peaches is dirty but so entertaining
5. The Killers were pretty much a write off. I couldn't see, I couldn't hear, I stopped paying attention because of it and people watched which was a shame because they were a draw for me.
6. Muse, I don't even like, but kicked the Killers' arses all over the place and I figured it must have been the BANDS making the difference because I could hear Muse perfectly fine.
7. Tool... what I stuck around for was wicked, but I had a pressing engagement at
8. Dimmer. Awesome.
annnnnnnnnnnnnd
9. Violent Femmes were the perfect way to end the day even if it was way too crowded and I couldn't see much more than the silly bitch on her boyfriends shoulders. Still fun and great songs.
And also, why not get the "recognition"? All the recognition you get unless you tell people is the tax stuff... and then you fill that in to make sure the government pays their share. If you think "I don't want my 3rd back" do what Joanna would suggest and redonate your rebate money.
Oh. OH I AM SO THERE. And I'm not there on a motorcycle trying to be a rebel either............
*twitch*
Oh my stars! i was there. it was sublime.
i was a big nerdy supergroove fan back in the day (i was moderately in love with karl steven when i was 14-15) so seeing them live when i never got the chance because i was too damn young back when they were around in the olden days... was AMAZING. i nearly wet myself multiple times.
and crowded house were fucking choice, of course.
