Not just that, he included him on his weekly BBC world service show 'Tokyo 2005' if I rememebr rightly. Pretty good too, stopped the hardcore gardening I was doing here in Binyamina, Israel and strained for a better listen, pretty hard with wailing Arabic music on the same frequency.

Thanks a lot Aka will send them a mail. Afraid I can't remember much more about the band Teina except that this is the only song of therirs I knew. They were
stillon the scene in those days (which must have been early 90s). Sorry for the lack of info but I barely remember the live video itself and from memory it was badly lit. All I can say is that it wasn't the Renderers, Verlaines, Chills, 3Ds or any other well known luminaries. Its a pain in the butt because I know that you'd recognise it if you heard it.

Tricky one for youse.
I can't remember the name of this 80s (he assumes) Dunedin band, one song I know with driving guitars and no vocals. The live video to this song appeared in the Dunedin music exhibition at the Settler's Museum several years ago. The song was constantly played on Radio One and I remember thinking when I saw the video, so that's who did this fecking gem, so I assume they're relatively well known without being one of the more famous luminaries of the Dunedin scene. Couldn't see anything that rang a bell on the artist's page.
HELP!

You dirty little buggars, you'll go blind. Damn its good though

Thanks, noizy will try to find someting from the bands you mentioned, though its a bit hard from here (Israel). First night on this site, fantastic, have been spanking on to my mates here that Kiwi music is great and that the Israeli stuff is lame, now I can prove it.

One of their best, jeez these guys could have been great but their music was always tense and on the edge, guess they fell off. Aroha bros and goddess

These guys could really rock live, whatever happened to them. I thought at one stage they'd be the next biggish thing last I saw/heard was a drunken gig in Palmie years ago with as many punters as band members with predictable consequences- yeah, I wouldn't give a toss either.

Snap, whoop there it is, like to sing this one to myself in my head when arguing with right wingers here in Israel

Miss you Tassies, you were always the best. Only band I know that would stop mid-gig to go see another band playing elsewhere (ST. Fits) then come back just as good an hour later
