i might say 'renunions are a bit lame'. but I might change my mind. it might have been done before. so i might not say anything.
Look out for Ghostplane and Fang haunting the highways in the next two weeks as part of the A LOW HUM travelling music package.
This is the first time Ghostplane have headed south since the release of their most excellent EP The Panther Valley Country Club (everybody is saying nice things about them...see below). For the North Island they will be joined by Fang who will be turning down (at the Odeon at least) and letting loose a few new numbers from their upcoming album.
Anyway, it's an excellent deal because the CD is better than excellent. Last Months CD had Ghostplane, Dappled Cities Fly, the Fanatics, Batrider and others on it
...this month has Fang, Mestar Letterbox Lambs, Age Pryor, Looma, Disasterplan, Meterman and Phelps & Munro

Rusty says the monkey had some Devil in him - was that you mr Drunken Rider?
probably a christian drummer. That brings Danny from Voom back into the frame. or the guy from Elemenop.
at least he was a sober ape - and not as loose as some others I've heard about.
could have been Beaver from the D4, the names right but that ape ain't skinny enough. I also think only a drummer would try to play the keyboard with his feet.
...or perhaps it was you rusty? - there was a pinky-red tinge to that Yeti
I thought it was someone who auditioned for NZ Idol...the one who sang 'dont be afraid of the dark'
and your identity Mr Rider is no secret either. The covert distribution operations your identity(ies) allow requires safe house protection and full payment via the usual channels.
Actually it is out March 1st - on Arch Hill. It is a healthy seven track EP, great songs, fresh mixes, vibrant masters.
Fang are playing a gig with the Chills on Friday the 5th of December at the Kings Arms Auckland if you are in the area.
Actually, Oskar is a dog - and as far as I know he's not for sale.
But for the CD and entry to the gig is $20 and just for entry to the gig it is $10...
...but there is a very SECRET PASSWORD that means you can get the CD and entry to the gig for a special secret price - the secret password is for folks on the Arch Hill email list, or with secret contacts.

IMNZ press release:
Independent Music NZ (IMNZ) congratulates all the winners in last night's 38th Annual Music Awards. In particular we congratulate the independent
artists and labels who took away a staggering 16 of the 20 awards on offer, once again proving that independent and NZ-owned record companies are still the driving force behind New Zealand's music industry.
Independent music accounted for two-thirds of all nominees in the
non-technical categories presented at Auckland's Aotea Centre.
In recognising The Datsuns' success overseas, their Outstanding International Achievment award also highlights the unique ability that our independent music producers have to export their talents around the globe.

I think I am - except I thought it was Thursday - thanks for the reminder. I guess that won't give any time to swot up.
