I know he married that chick Debbie/Deborah from When the Cats away. An dIm sure I seen him do that show a couple of years back where they take people wanting to be singers and do a song and clip for them. Cant remember what it was called though.........um......
I saw degrees.k a while ago at the orientation, and I dont know if it was coz the sound guy was getting abit carried away or what but I didn't really enjoy it. I don't think the audience gave them a chance to show their stuff coz the whole crowd kept asking for Slim through their whole set ( coz they were on after them) and I think degrees.k was just basically pissed off coz you couldn't really hear shit but "SLIM!SLIM!SLIM!" constantly. Which is pretty sad coz there were a couple of loyal degrees.k fans in the front who got booed to the side. And I would of liked to hear at least one of their songs coz I had never heard of them before. But that was sort of my last chance, coz Ive never heard from them again. Does anybody know if they got an album out or recomend any good stuff from them coz I'd like to hear them properly, and if it has to be in the comfort of my own home then so be it
Well, I heard she Julia was doing a stint in the Vagina Monologues (Did I even spell that right?...let alone vagina??) in Wellington but that was in RIP a couple of months ago. I dont even know if they're still in NZ at the moment. R they releasing anything new? I've heard a couple of their new ones but that was about it.
no probs...I don't really get into k-lee that much anyway. I just like her because she's got a nice voice. But I'm not really into the pop stuff, kiwi or international. And Matty J Rhys is so not-so-popular. But yea, she definately needs a reboot on her vids and lyrics. Her last one was...americanish...but props to her anyway
Hey, I like KLee, I mean she's a pretty good singer and all but her latest single does pretty much...suck.The lyrics kinda reminds me of destiny's child's "Jumpin'Jumpin"". But if u managed to catch Squeeze a week ago, they done an episode on NZ Pop music. With K'Lee and that. And the guy who writes her songs is that 'C.O.L.O.U.R Blind' guy Matty J Rhys. And she just finalises the lyrics by throwing in her slang so that the song has her touch...something like that...And if u caught Space a few weeks ago, the guys who made her latest clip kinda used her video clip as a practise run for his next client-JLo...or something along those lines.
