I work on Big Brother... and although you may hate it, believe me, you don't hate it more than me. I have worked on 302 eppisodes in 3 years - and my brain is mush from 20 somethings and their identity issues.
I voted myself off, and resigned. 2 weeks to go.

Whatever. Rianz basicly slapped me in the face with another decision they made last week regarding the Tui's going to air.
Goldenhorse and great. The album is sublime. Breakthrough artist of the year was always going to go to the datsuns anyway. P-money can't win it if he wasn't nominated in the first place.
And how can you have "nominations" in a highest selling single and album catagory. fuckin' dumb.
Someone hurry up and explain to me how the FUCK you can have FINALISTS in a "highest selling" catagory. How stupid.

Its always been a popularity contest, and at the end of the day, its the marketing that is awarded. Its not true to say this of every case, certainly, but the overwhelming feeling I have gotten from the last three Music awards is: give yourself a pat on the back EMI/SONY/WARNERS, this is YOUR year.
No disrespect to past winners, but you can't say anything is "THE BEST". I just wish they'd call a spade a spade and say "The biggest selling single of 2002 award goes to blah blah blah".
Pluto at Galatos was the best gig I have been to in New Zealand - ever.

It seems Rianz deem Engineers as not important enough for awards anymore. In a move to make the awards more music and artist orientated they have ditched best engineer, artwork and possibly music video - but - GET THIS - kept in BEST RADIO PROGRAMMER.
