//That would imply that the egg had been fertilised

Maybe it was immaculately conceived. Maybe it was destined to be the chicken Jesus! And you ate it! Good one Sam. >:-(

Actually, pirates would be kinda dirty & scody... A ninja might be better to go out with due to the cleanliness factor, but generally I like pirates way better than ninjas.
Yeah, Johhny Depp...Guybrush Threepwood...

Megaccino : 18 October 2004 - 5:50pm

Pirate.

//I for one have this movie high on my list

Reviewers seem to be saying this is a terrible adaption. The ones that seem to do the best, are the ones that stick closely to the book, like 95's BBC version. It's been about 2 years since it was on TV, hope they play it again soon.

Megaccino : 13 October 2004 - 8:37pm

Reminds me of this weeks Reno 911 episode. Anyone else enjoy that show?

And although I can't offer you one, a good last resort could be this site. Download the appropriate emulator, then choose all the roms you want & play them on your computer. Not as fun as the console, but still...

My Mum loved it. She even brought some needles home to stick in herself (was easy to do since it was in her hand)
I often wondered how she could just laugh when the cat would bat at & pull on the needles though... Don't hang around cats when you have needles sticking in your skin.

//ha, that eliminates the entire acting population of new zealand

Rightly so too.

Megaccino : 7 October 2004 - 3:38pm

Boo to ex-shortland street actors.

Megaccino : 6 October 2004 - 7:11pm

Mmmmmmmmmmm, top hats & surly expressions while riding horses.
I hate the idea of Bridget Jones Diary & I LOATHE Hugh Grant. But Colin Firth makes it watchable. Mmmmm.

Everyone in Chch should vote for that electronic schizophrenic guy. I'd spice things up a bit...

"There is no such thing as schizophrenia, the syndrome is all done with transmitting bugs and electronic devices, mostly by a team of political people, and it is an easy fall back diagnosis for psychiatrists. It is my intention to seek the word schizophrenia be scrapped, and also scrap aural dysfunction or aural disease as well.

In these days of x-rays, microwave ovens, fishing sonar, gamma rays etc, the telephone line blocking of complaints to the police, and the telephoning of police, when a person goes to the police station, that the person is acting strangely and the precedent for Police to totally refuse to carry out any neighbourhood enquiries, but only offer a trip to Hillmorton mental prison-hospital is not acceptable."

& an extract from the same guys mayoral bid: "The use of a stingray, and a tingleray at election meetings and a very hot ray which can pass through walls is not acceptable, candidates should have the use of a Council car."

Where I is at has a different timetable to everywhere else.

And...umm.... I was there in spirit? *feels guilty*

Megaccino : 5 October 2004 - 1:05am

Thanks for putting it a night before an exam :D

Megaccino : 4 October 2004 - 11:56pm

Fuck buying ringtones. I made my own for free. The Young Ones Theme song.

Megaccino : 4 October 2004 - 11:05pm

Megaccino : 4 October 2004 - 11:03pm

I soooo wish I'd switched to Telecom at the start of the year, when I upgraded my vodafone phone. Next time I buy a new phone, I definately will (providing $10 txt still exists). This may take a while since I used my last (& first) phone for about 4 years.

Stupid Vodafone.

Megaccino : 30 September 2004 - 4:06am

That was soooo cool. I was expecting something like that to happen though, after these other posts.

Megaccino : 30 September 2004 - 4:03am

ooooh. *smacks head* There's an NZM newsletter stil?!?! Why don't I get it?!? Stop teasing me!!?!?

Megaccino : 30 September 2004 - 2:04am

So what if I made a slightly off-topic comment about Bomber. How's that mean I don't get 'it'?

Megaccino : 29 September 2004 - 4:42am

Remember when he used to read this site... Remember when he wrote an angry e-mail after receiving the NZM newsletter, which featured in the next issue? That was the funniest thing. What happened to NZM newsletter?

Megaccino : 26 September 2004 - 10:29pm

Yeah. There was 1 celebrity, can't remember who, but he was begging to do a voice on South Park. He was offered the voice of turkey #13 on the Thanksgiving episode & was not happy.

While on the topic of celebs/simpsons, the one where Homer goes to rock n roll camp is orsome.

Megaccino : 26 September 2004 - 9:32pm

//I think in one episode George Clooney was the voice of a barking dog! Now that’s funny!!!!

That's South Park.

Megaccino : 23 September 2004 - 9:59pm

Not teacher. He's one of the 5 boys. Sione I think?
Gotta love what the Press's tv pullout guide thing says about Jeff da Maori...
"He lives with his mun & 8 dads in a car shell in [Valae & Valea's] front yard. He grew up in the country but moved to the city because it had better tv reception & the damn colonists took his land" (or something to that effect)
