Please contact me about Bodega things through the Bodega myspace, and about any other projects you want to contact me about or just to ramble on my own myspace.

Just a message to let everyone know that Fraser is back to booking gigs at Bar Bodega. Tane has moved on.
Some of you will be very familiar with Fraser, for those who are not: Fraser has been with Bodega for 15years and is the owner/licencee of the bar, he has been involved in establishing much of the Kiwi music scene over the years.
It is a pleasure to see him back in THE CHAIR.
Send him a message to welcome him back or to query gig availablity or venue hire at bar@bodega.co.nz, alternatively you can contact me via the myspace site.
Big cheers to the Fraise
Their SPAMMING lost me already too...this just iced the cake. Hate those damn emails!
Its not usually like me to take it upon myself to get worked up over a band article. But it actually made me feel pretty grim...if he wants to talk to his mates about stuff like that...sweet, but bloody hell....as a bands claim to fame. Grim. Gave me the shivers.
Has anyone read this weeks Tourist interview in the Groove Guide. What do you think?
I'm quite disgusted and disappointed.
Keen to hear other peoples views on it because it was seriously NOT COOL
After recent success at the Handle the Jandle Awards, winning the cinematography award for Send in The Clones, Battle Circus will be playing at Bar Bodega this Saturday the 21st of October.
Starting 10pm sharp with This City Sunrise - one of the most promising new acts I have seen in a long time and possibly my favourite band in Wellington aside from Thought Creature and Percy Feral...of course.
The Evils - Quirky band fronted by James Goldsmith, most bands who have performed at the San Fran Bathhouse, or when it was called Indigo, will be familiar with James as he probably did your sound! Heres your chance to see him in "action" ON the stage.
Percy Feral - A good dose of good old fashioned Rock and Roll with a twist of Acid Lounge, a sprinkle of Glam and a large lashing of Grunge.
Come along! Bodega is showing the rugby also so if you're a fan, come see the rugby and stay for the gig!
Thats awesome. Chatted to Willy today about it, really excited to hear it!!
Finding it hard to find contact details for any bands from Tauranga, I am doing a well advertised tour of the north island, playing with high profile-ish bands in Auckland. The 28th of September needs to be filled and I'm hoping to have this as a light, fun, houseparty with lots of crazyness. If you're in a band in Tauranga and would like to know more leave you're email address and I'll email you right away.
For sure, I have a few bands that I can recommend, send me an email at tightpants.nz@gmail.com and take it from there or checkout the link below and find me on myspace
As if Disasteradio wasn't cool enough, this is GREAT! I was at Bodega the other day and I was really surprised to hear downstairs this brilliant electro stuff, the band was In in for the money, me and the bartender were gobsmacked, I don't think I've ever found a use for that word until now. Unfortunately there were about 6 people in the audience, we all got a copy of their great EP, Burnt Orange. But anyway, has anyone heard of them before? They would be brilliant in a gig with Disasteradio, both acts have that effect on me. I don't know, I think it was the guys killer wig that got me in the end!!!!
For details of the gig for which tickets are up for grabs click on the link at the bottom of this comment.
I want people to track me down and practice on me for April Fools Day, the point is that if the trick is a good one and I like it (I mean don't hurt me!!!) then I'll give you tickets to a wee gig that I have running @ the San Francisco Bathhouse (AKA Indigo).
Running between the 25th of March and midday on the 1st of April and including partner in crime Shane Forge. To view a poster and details of our whereabouts click the link at the bottom!!!!

//Oh and Tane, I hope it wasn't you that asked Lou Barlow for $25 doorcharge when he turned up to play at Bodega, as reported in todays paper.
I don't think it was Tane but good on the door man for doing his job! Its hard sometimes, everyones got an excuse, I'm sure if it did happen Lou found it funny anyway! Good story
Haha. Shameless. Did I mention Seamus from Elston Gun....aren't they playing on Friday with Percy Feral and Mad Max, what a wicked lineup, I wish I could go. Thanks for the fish n chips (pizza), pity it took TWO HOURS!!
You don't make sense. Perhaps we should have fish and chips sometime. Perhaps tomorrow at 8. I heard its the Listening Post on at Bar Bodega!!!!
I manage a few bands in Wellington and have close relationships with alot of others, send me an email and we can discuss options if you like. I also do some bookings for Bar Bodega especially Room 101.

At least you know how to pour a beer now Tane!!!!! Now, lets get onto stealing customers...its not on really you really need to pull your head in in that department. Perhaps Adam could give you a tutorial, perhaps over a steak and oyster pie.
Its helpful if people aren't total wankers on it like instinct. Its a shame you suffered through so much abuse, but do you not realise that by talking how you do you are abusing other people. Isn't being a hypicrite also a form of being weak, or how you put it being a pussy?
Totally agree. Pig Out are wonderful people and their music is a whole lot of fun, not only that, its actually good too!! :)
