“NZ’s loss is Melbourne’s gain with this electronica of great proportions we play it all the time” - Lindsay (founder of The NZ Show, Brisbane’s 4ZZZ,)

"Suitably cool and suprisingly clever dance music" - Simone, Beat Magazine.

Super electro pop sensations 'The Greenmatics' are back, this time with the ultra cool new EP 'Out of Limbo'. Recorded at Greencentral, it includes the anthem 'I Love Technology', and 1 NZ hits 'Wait No More', 'Talk', plus the techno inspired track 'Greentea'.

From New Zealand, UK and Lithuania, Green, Gordo and Ant all stumbled across each other in Melbourne, Australia in 2006 and are quite deliriously happy with the direction their band is quickly heading.

In NZ 'The Greenmatics' (formerly known as ‘Emerald Green’) had 4 singles reach 1 in various Top 10 Radio countdowns. They received a nomination for ‘Most Promising New Act’ in the 2005 bNet Music Awards and had their 1 hit Wait No More remixed by Ryan Beehre (Minuit, Funkn Slocuts). They completed a tour of NZ, and their music videos were aired on Nationwide Television. With this success still fuelling her, Green (Mel Smith) took it to the next level. She headed for the big sunny/rainy city of Melbourne to see what she could accomplish.

In Melbourne, they formed a solid group, with a complete new band lineup. Onstage, they acquired plenty of retro electro gear, and have been cutting some seriously groundbreaking live shows.

Are you excited? They are.

With their new E.P. 'Out Of Limbo', 'The Greenmatics' are eagerly anticipating gaining more music industry success.
