i'm wondering if anyone has a copy of the entire discography that used to be up on the old feelers official website....the discog that had all their demo tapes on it...
i've got some of those demo's, and want to know the names of some of the songs whose names i can't remember.....

cheers,
sac

and apparently mogwai are real keen to come as well...
i don't know if they are, i just know that the band thenselves are very interested.
and that would be brilliant.

just a clarification....
not all the feelers went to shirley boys high school...
matt was from new plymouth and went down to chch to go to university. he went to new plymouth boys high school.
he never went to high school in christchurch.

apart from that, i agree with Joe.

on a similar note...has anyone heard the first feelers single, "the leaving" from 1994....from when they won the battle of the bands
cause it's rocking....now that could be called grunge!
much much heavier than their other stuff.....rather amusing actually...

i tend to agree with dunedinkid's comments about the similarities between jakob and mogwai/hdu. i believe that this is especially relevant for their latest album, which does come across as too mogwai and hdu, and it tends to bore me quickly....
but in saying this, i find their first album like nothing ever before. on this one they just hit the spot.....it is pure genius......this album is original.....sounds a bit more like godspeed you black emperor! than mogwai...
verstaerker is one of most amazing songs ever written.

so my advice for anyone doubting jakob as a brilliant band, go get their first self-titled album and prepared to be blown away
