Sorry mate, I like that sorta music but not complete rip offs listen to the rest of Jakobs album and it is amino by HDU all over.
I mean bands can sound similar which is great we need a base but not complete ripp offs. The guitaring in a nice day for an earthquake is also completely the same as Tracy by mogwai. Sorry mate these guys have nothing original about them. So to quote them from their Real groove interview "we are original" is shite.

jimi by your two favourite artists are very mainstream pop bands. I now understand why you might not enjoy Carriage H's beautiful noise.
I also take it you are a young boy you did not do very well in this years rockquest. That is why you are so upset about any band which does do well in the rockquest.
You know though JIMI i know the Shihad boys very well. Infact my now defunt band played with them when they had balls. Shihad were very impressed with Carriage H.

It was an Excellent concert. I am gettinga bit old to do the tripped out dancing which people were doing though.
Look Jimi you seem to be ganged up on here, i have been into noise music for 20 years now. I saw HDU's first show in INVercargill. I have seen the likes of Fugazi in Dunedin. Carriage H seem to hold this passion which i haven't seen before well um i have seen it before but not the point. I think you are just tryin to annoy people. Maybe you need to grow up. I also saw that televison show on them. They are not like that in real life i have been told infact the opposite.

Ihave now seen carriage H twice. THeyplayed a blinder last night at tillermans. everyone seemed to get into it. I dont know what the guitarist was on though. He attacked teh bass player and the drummer with a pool cue. He also was walking around like a scared wee rabbit.
Other than technical differculties on one song (the song which the pool cue was brought out) it was a Excellent gig. I wouldhave to say favourite band to come to Invercargill in a long time. They keep getting better and better. ROCK ON!

I fully hear what you are saying about bands taking their own prespective of a certain music. But I have to stand my ground that most of Subsets of sets is a complete rip off. Except for the track after a nice day for an earthquake that is a awesome song. No offence mate. Ok. Just adding my view.
