Heya! I play drums and have a guitarist and another guitarist/bassist available that are planning a band in the vein of Mudvayne/Slipknot (but incorporating ideas based on our different influences). We have all played in bands before, done studio work, gigs/tours, etc. have our own equipment, transport, the works.
All we need is a vocalist/guitarist (combo perhaps?) that will be able to compete with the likes of the above mentioned bands. We are quite serious about doing this and will be writing original material only with the view of recording a.s.a.p. I've also got loads of contacts in EU, labels, bands, distro's, etc.
We're all in our late 20's, early 30's. So if you're interested send me a mail and we can get together and talk.

I've been playing for 7/8 years (on & off), mostly heavy/extreme metal. Currently looking for musicians interested in starting a band in the vein of Mudvayne/Disturbed/Sevendust/Blindspot in Auckland. I'm very serious about this project and expect you to feel the same, age is not an issue (out of school at least!), you must have your own equipment, own transport, know a thing or two about playing/writing/recording music, have live/touring/studio experience, and be willing to experiment.
No covers, this will be an original music project.

How much will it be, per day or per hour? I'm a drummer and would want to practise for a couple of hours on the weekend only ... 1 day a week kinda thing.
