these are the comments immediately preceding the outburst:
Mark: "Thankyou Smithy, it is a little damp underfoot out here in the outfield, but rest assured if it clears up soon we can have a full day's play.
Stephen, I realise you're a little underdone in this test, after playing all those one dayers, but can you tell me the real excuse why the Kiwi's have failed with the bat in this game?"
Stephen: "I think failed is a strong word, we came here with a game plan but unfortunately we couldn't stick to it at times and I guess that's what cost us"
Mark: Chuckles off to the side "But I mean, it's as if our batsman have been unable to get back into the swing of test cricket. Is that a fair assumption?"
Stephen: sort of stares at Mark "I think we just have to do the basics of what we know best when it comes to batting. I think at times we have done that well and at times maybe not so well, but we certainly know we have a fight on our hands".
Mark: "And what could be the reason for the slow tempo of the innings? Is it the pitch you think? Is it playing up? Or are our batsman stuck in between the 50 over game and the longer version?"
Flem mumbles a barley audible answer and then he says "thanks mate".
It feels like it's straight out of the office. Richardson looks so uncomfortable and embarrassed. No love lost there.
Will you subject him to 24 hours constant rotation of 'Larger than Life'?
Bonnie 'Prince' Billy tonight. Should be nothing short of religious.
> a woman culd never force sex on a adolescent boy, unless she were real butch
So your rationale is that if she can't force the boy to stick it in that is some how better than what Graham Capill did?
Richard's on Richards is on Richards Street funnily enough. It's a superb venue. I saw the Secret Machines, Constantines, Weakerthans, Low, Pedro the Lion, Shivaree, Clem Snide and a few others there. For some reason I passed on seeing Sufjan play there. Dumb.
Great vibe, great sound.
The Commodore is on Granville Street just past Robson. It's nice. It's much bigger - saw a bunch of bands there too.
Gigs ar the Red Room are fun too. Saw Death From Above there. Reminded me a lot of Indigo. Wicked fun.
Got a job? I found it pretty tough going in that regard. But I do miss the 'couv.
Richard's on Richards or the Commodore?
Saw them with the Weakerthans last year. Pretty sweet.
All the good Canadian bands come from Toronto, and a few from Montreal.
The local Vancouver scene sucks, eh?
Any chance someone can get me a ticket for tonight? There's 9 left and a friend wants to come.
There's no way I can get to Cuba Street before the gig.
Just added the forums search plugin for Mozilla users. The general site search has been updated also.
Have fun.

Huh? I showed up at 7 or something and was only about 20 people back in the queue.
Cher for giving some bootleg love, bra'a. After three years of me and Mana nagging you you gave in. It's only a matter time for the rest, I'm sure.
Trademark anyone?
since my post got moved to the "classifieds", i thought i'd mention the link below, here.
Pay your respects here.
Is it the best album to come out of New Zealand?
Personally I think flash photography is intrusive. It can get quite ridiculous when the digital generation are there shooting away. People should learn how to shoot properly. Then they'd have the option not to use flash, or won't be firing of twenty shots to get the one good decent image.
That said, she could have said something to the crowd. Getting a tech to do the dirty work sounds very diva-ish
I don't like it. Reminds me of Midnite Vultures which I disliked immensely.
> But Nick would have to get his life in to check & try not to be too wild.
Where's the rocknroll gone?
that chick evie used to be hot.
my words of wisdom for the day.
reprazent, flipside, yo!
With all this Noizy moonlighting as other people I think it's time someone investigated as to whether Noizy is Luci. Luci is just too much too believe.
here's the sky piece which apparently concludes the whole affair.
