that debarcle they had last year......free concerts for 24 or 48 hours....it was on tv and all......what a load of shit......although there was some talent in there a large part of it was crap in my eye and embarrassing to the talent that does exist out there....although I don't think pluto is talent,sorry

drop nz music month.....it's dead

It is disappointing to me that in some cases if an artist has any connection with New Zealand we promote them as New Zealand Talent. I love that band "The Veils". On some radio station they are branded as NZ'ers from Devonport yet a recent article I read had the singer saying that he considered himself a Londoner. He was born and raised in London and only spent a few years out here with his Grandmother. To me their sound is fantastic and quite clearly sounds english. I dunno maybe I am just being picky but there is this element out there who wants to lay claim to talent just because there is a 'small' connection with our beautiful country......Look at the Datsuns, NZ music industry personell said they sucked until england got hold of them....

mate I worked for Telecom for over 5 years and the company is 50% owned by Americans cashing in on People who are 'pro kiwi' so hey stick with Telecom....they'll glady take your money off you

i just don't get the kiwi attitude against business becoming successful. so f**king what if they made a 71% rise in after tax profit. It means they are a good business with a reliable service. Their customers are happy. I am self employed and used to have your attitude about big businesses and big profits but hey if you want good money make the right choices and work hard, simple.
