'somebody has been drinking... and its definitely been me'
julian casablancas
I like the old one, i read the 8 reasons to change it on that site, its all nice and stuff but i would prefer that we kept the old one. I like the Union jack, it links us to the UK and it gives us something in common.
I agree with you guys, i was tented right near the Cage (loud indoor venue) and managed to get to sleep before midnight! I live near a racecourse in Christchurch and of course occasionally you can hear the commentators going on for hours, but i dont go get out my noise metre and write complaints!! The Eastercamp i attend in Chch also gets alot of noise complaints, but wherever it is held some people are going to be affected. The festival and eastercamp are so much fun, alot of people have a great times, but its the tight people who kick up big stinks about noise that really smell :-( I can understand how annoying it must be to have noise a few days a year, but then if its so much of a problem they could probably go on a holiday. Sorry for rant..
ANOTHER GIG!
Thursday 5th February
Dux de Lux, Christchurch!!!
9:30pm
please come!!
Belindiatour (= janeadams)
for me Big Day Out ='ed Muse + The Darkness
saw The Darkness play, ran to the line to meet Muse in the signing tent, emt the (aaaaaaaah!) ran to get a place to watch them play (wating three hours.. so worth it tho!) and after seeing Muse and getting pulled out of the 'mosh' by security and getting picks and a setlist i kinda wobbled around till hometime. Sorta saw The Strokes and i saw the Dandy Stoners but i was too exhausted from lack of food/air and standing for three hours in an uncomfortable position to see any more bands properly heehee. ROCK MATTHEW BELLAMY /m/
this was my 4th parachute and it was so so much fun i always end up camping and travelling wif random ppl and hanging out wif random ppl till all hours of the morning and eating heaps of donuts and watermelon and meeting bands and stuff. parachute rocks Ü
