The first time I caught Pig Out after they changed from House of Dolls I had no idea what to make of them, but i've since seen them twice more and DAMN, they get better and better!

definitely a lot of a good fun to be had at a Pig Out show, and the peeps in the band are super nice, so i'm definitely glad they're getting some well deserved recognition.

Last time I talked to Marie she said that Pig Out have toured 5 times in like 6 months! Them and The Shaky Hands win the Will award for dedication to touring! sexy.

Just out of interest, who's been there, and what did you make of it.
We're thinking of doing more shows there now, especially with the lack of creation, but it'd be cool to know what people think?

personally i love it for the views etc, as well as the fact that it's so central (opposite the bus exchange) - but i do think it's too sterile.

what's your thoughts?

Wellington's The Red Carpet Murder have been inactive for a whee while, and sadly this will be their last gig ever, and yes, strangely enough it is happening here in Christchurch.

Details, yo:

www.outofkilter.net presents:

Where? THE SHED.
When? SATURDAY THE 2ND OF JULY. 7:30 PM.
Who? THE BLOW CHARLIE, INDECISIVE, TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS, SIXLIP and THE RED CARPET MURDER.

The cost is $10 because the RCM had to fly down from their respective parts of the North Island, however it will be WELL worth it as this gig is gonna be insane!

There will be free shit like badges, stickers and posters too so go hard!

Promo poster will be up soon.

Any ideas?

I'd like to vote for Green, but that'd be a luxury that New Zealand can't afford when the polls are so close right now between Labour and National. So yeah, I'm voting Labour.

Do you know who you'll vote for yet?

ookrecords : 26 April 2005 - 7:42am

Make sure you rock on up to Creation around 8 to check out The Have and Autozamm with support from some of Christchurch's best hidden secrets, Overdive and The Insurgents.

Only $10 on the door, so make sure you don't miss out!

Oh and the concert I put on to raise money for the Tsunami went well, and we raised $1,700, of which $1,300 is going to the Tsunami Victims (the rest payed for venue, PA hire etc).

On a negative note, I've been working in the homeware business far too long.

Damn you Briscoes.
