you know, I think it could be!

He is pretty good looking for a guy, I would do him.

DarkNick : 23 June 2006 - 12:00pm

I would match his right wing banter with a bit of left wing rhetoric. See how steamed you can get your boss.

DarkNick : 23 June 2006 - 11:55am

Where did this RebelHeart come from?
He's sure is somthin.

DarkNick : 23 June 2006 - 11:49am

Aw come on! It is legal between consenting adults isn't it?

Still, plenty of action in the holding cells...

DarkNick : 21 June 2006 - 1:57pm

You know, from here all you can see of God is one big upskirt shot. God has a bad case of cameltoe. That's pretty cool.

DarkNick : 21 June 2006 - 1:52pm

yep, nothing like a silleto up the eye...

DarkNick : 21 June 2006 - 1:51pm

Wash it dum arse!

DarkNick : 21 June 2006 - 1:49pm

I don't think I could even watch a movie called Mulholland Drive. Totally puts me off right there.

DarkNick : 21 June 2006 - 1:20pm

I don't think things are that much different now than they were in the past. There is still an abundance of filthy music on the radio these days. For example:

It's too late by Evermore:
"Ride mum& ride til early morning turn
Ride mum& like the dawning of the day
Its too late
to let all your feelings show
Go on til the night is swept away"

yeah, happy mothersday evermore...

In the past we had Elton John promoting pedophilia as 'a taste of love in a simple way':

And did you think this fool could never win
Well look at me, I'm coming back again
I got a taste of love in a simple way
And if you need to know while I'm still standing you just fade away

Don't you know I'm still standing better than I ever did
Looking like a true survivor, feeling up a little kid

That last line just proves he is a sick man, though you could always tell by the dodgy wigs he wears.

DarkNick : 10 March 2006 - 7:01am

I am pretty sick of hearing about this. It is on the radio every 10 mins and tely. It's like the media is running about waving our arms shouting "don't panic, don't panic, U2 are posponed!!!!!!!"

DarkNick : 3 March 2006 - 1:01pm

Not bad. Yourself? Did you ever get that covers band up and running?

Just completed a sound room in my garage. The neighbours were complaining about my drumming.

I still don't have a band at the moment, I might have to start taking a serious look.

DarkNick : 3 March 2006 - 9:32am

Even I would not wear it, with or without a shawl

DarkNick : 3 March 2006 - 9:29am

I don't think JC is like that. He is just gregarious.

DarkNick : 3 March 2006 - 8:18am

she was possessed by a minor demon at least.

I was worried about her oldest daughter too. She was acting like the mum, ordering the younger sister about, sleeping with her dad....

DarkNick : 3 March 2006 - 7:49am

Hey JC, did you see that spouse swapping programme on tv last night? Whats your take on that fanatical christian lady?

I think she was fucked in the head. People like that give christianity and even worse name. Does christianity teach that association with 'non-christian' things can taint you? Seems stupid to me: avoiding temptation for fear that it will convert you (though it makes sense if you know that you are weak willed). I thought faith was all about facing temptation and trusting you won't give in that some faith in a god will protect you. Perhaps some people need faith in something else (like religion) when they have no faith in themselves?

DarkNick : 3 March 2006 - 7:34am

Is that $250US?

It is an ugly beast for that amount of money.

DarkNick : 2 March 2006 - 12:38pm

I think actual charisma is more improtant than looks.

Perhaps rdor means ugly people that have no stage presence. A lot of the successful mucisians mentioned had charisma e.g. Elton John is ugly but he is a great performer.

I personaly feel that any great musician will have a presence when playing. I have a theory that if musicians can't commmunicate to people through their music they will appear ugly as people can't relate to them. This is partly why a lot of us will hate the people that make the music we hate as they can't communicate to us. They have a different frame of reference. I don't think there will be many people who hate country music that would find billy ray hot. Yet I bet country fans find him attractive.

I think if someone has no stage presence then they can't communicate with people in a way that makes them seem 'attractive' , they also won't be very good at expressing music.

So in answer to your question I would say that charisma is much more important than looks. I rekon a charasmatic musician will be a better at making music than a non-chrasmatic one simply because they are better communicators.

DarkNick : 2 March 2006 - 12:16pm

That sucks too. It is like they have no faith in their own companies name. "we can't tell them who we are or people won't apply"

DarkNick : 1 March 2006 - 7:34am

It is really nice to see someone actually telling us what their band is called. I hate those shitty ads saying "established band, recording contract, international gigs...." and then don't tell you who they are.

DarkNick : 1 March 2006 - 7:31am

How would one get in touch with you?

DarkNick : 24 February 2006 - 12:53pm

Try playing someone else's, it is much easier.

DarkNick : 24 February 2006 - 12:49pm

Touche!

DarkNick : 24 February 2006 - 8:14am

I prefer the term 'special goo'
I don't really find it a problem, in fact it is a distinct pleasure. Though often it is much more enjoyable to play your skinflute to delay the energence. At least that way you get to finish a song.

I hope I never experience terrible glue on my drum kit...You can love your drums, but don't Luv your drums.

DarkNick : 24 February 2006 - 8:01am

One of my fravourites is a hot lamb salad with fresh black olives, cherry tomatoes, red onion and feta with an avocado oil/redwine vinager vinegrette.

Sometimes the best thing is to just to eat a pile of good meat on it's own - like roast meats, a big steak, and chicken and bacon always tastes good...sometimes you need to feed the barbarian within. A good dirty old mince pie from a dairy might also suffice.
Sometimes I can't go past the humble tomato and onion on toast.
Sometimes a nice pasta with lots of cheese hits the spot.
Sometimes a can of spag and sausages done in the microwave is all I need
Sometimes the simple stuff is more satisfying than a big fancy meal. Last night I made an eggplant, chilli and spinach curry. It was really good and hot (I got the recipie out of the paper).
Somtimes all I want to make is Polish food (Perogi, begos....mmmmm) .

My least fravourite would be a stir fry. Horrible things.

DarkNick : 24 February 2006 - 7:44am

and being paranoid is unhealthy? Certainly can make you live longer, though the stress of it might kill you.

Actually, marijuana affects people in different ways. Only some people get paranoid. Some feel happy, some feel real sleepy, others loose the power of speech.

I don't think you can really compare them. They both have their benefits and both have drawbacks, also dose is a complicating factor e.g. I am sure drinking 20 litres of canola oil in one sitting would be pretty bad for you as opposed to having one puff on a joint.
