hey hey hey! i'm from Canada, and i'm travelling to NZ later on next year.
I'd really like to know some popular NZ bands before i go. I LOVE music from all over the world, especially when it's rock music. but i really do appreciate ALL kinds.
Could any of you please suggest some really great bands and/or songs that i should listen to?

Some great bands... well in my opinion, are Sloan, Hayden, The Flashing Lights, Bran Van 3000.... the list goes on. Sloan are AWESOME though! check them out!
