Peter is one of the most talented Mo Fos I know, I always respect the fact that alot of the creative things he does he never takes credit for or puts his name to, i.e. his street art, he just does it cos he love it, and thats a sign of true passion....much respect
The image stabilizing tool is found standard in After Effects 5.5 and up, it was originally a tool used to correct camera shake.......some of the best effects are effects and plugins used for unintended reasons...the CYMK filter can be used to great effect if fucked with enough.
Choice!! Thanks Niceguy, Phil and I just went and did the same.
'California Waiting' is a favorite, the opening riff to 'Mollys Chambers' could easily be The Stones (Brian Jones era).........The kings have their moments but their lead singer does have a tendancy to sound like a drunkin hobo which is cool for a while but does get a bit tired, its nice when he actually sings on 'Dusty'.
I have always been a fan, the cardigns are highly underrated which is mosetly due to 'Lovefool' and the amount of thrashing that song got, but 'Life' is retro lounge at its best and 'Grande Turismo' is like their OK Computer, dont make any judgements on them until you have heard these albums....funnily enough I got into them when I was listening to alot of heavy Swedish music in the mid 90's like refused and breach, I just liked the cover art of 'Life' heard they were from Sweden and decided to buy it.....have been in love ever since.
Didnt 'Red Kross' also cover that song? Or was it another Carpenters cover....?
Hey if anyone is in Welly next Thursday and wants to see something amazing then go and check out ‘Cremaster 3’ playing FREE at Massey. It is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen on celluloid (I got a chance to see the real deal at The Guggenheim when we were in New York) it is seriously surreal and worth checking out, you wont see anything quite like it, ever, think 'Omega and the Mechanical Animals' meets 'Barbie' inside a pot of Vaseline......um yeah.

Limegreen, you better reply to that email pretty soon, if you still wanna go to the gig.
We are leaving tomorrow (Wednesday) at 4:00am so the clock is ticking.....tick.......tock...........tick.......ahh mmmk
This is complicated but i will try and explain, if we said 'just email us the names for the door' then ever tom dick and harry would email us names and sign it 'limegreen', we wouldnt know who the real 'limegreen' was. This way limegreen posts his/her address with their little icon next to it, no one else has that email address and we know that the dude we are emailing is the real deal and the names we put on the door will match the people we want to be there..............hmmmmm im babling, I dont even know why im explaining this or if this makes any sense, it certainly sounds way, way too complicated then it should be, im going to stop now and get ready for 'the office'.
Hope that clears up any worries you had Jimi, your email has been received and we will be checking them everyday and updating the site with a tour diary, so check in every few days for an update.

Cool, for a moment then we thought that no one in Invercargill had the internet.
Wasdale and limegreen you are the lucky winners of pacifier tickets.
Because Wasdale you are the only person to actually come from Invers you get 3 of the coverted tickets. Limegreen will receive 2 of the tickets, this means you have to choose between your beautiful girlfriend or your buddy from out of town.
Post your email address here and we will email you the info, don’t email us.
Choice!!
Hope you guys enjoy the show.
Lots of love

Its as easy as that.
So if your interested post your answers here in this forum and we will choose the 5 best, make sure you keep checking back cos once we have picked the chosen few its up to you to send us your email addresses and real names.

//I look forward to the day when Pitchfork tears strips of Two Lane Blacktops first album, it will be an honour to be licked by their whip.
That was a joke Andoru a quite honest dig at myself and my own band.
I live in the knowledge that a lot of people consider that what me and my band do is ‘throw away’ and ‘trend hoping’, that doesn’t stop me enjoying what I do and continuing to do it.
Your negative and aggressive comments make me sad, and reminded me why I had stopped posting on NZMUISC.
Goodbye
The one thing i like about Pitchfork is that they usually wack the stuffing out of alot of the stuff I like which I find nice and leveling when trying to understand if I like the album for the hype or the content.
Pitchfork are into alot of obscure bullshit (and pride themselves on this), but i kinda enjoy their honesty and scathing reviews.

I stand corrected (check link), this review has some good points to make.

Hahahah Dust
That wasn’t bagging, that was harmless tomfoolery.
Im stoked that ATDI broke up…the result: two fantastic bands that scratch my constant itch for emo weirdness.
But to be honest I do think that the Sparta release was a little less progressive in its thinking (then Deloused..) and when I listen to Wire Trap Scars its hard for me to not hear ATDI (exp Wards vocals of course).
To me The Mars Volta seem to be pushing things further, trying to escape the old ‘Fugazi wannibie’ label ATDI was smacked with, and they do it well.
The Mars Volta have just offered me (an ATDI junkie) a far more mature depth, a progression of what ATDI was, kinda like how J.K.Rowlings ‘Harry Potter’ books just get larger and deeper as her audience matures.
I know you shouldn’t compare bands doing different things but these guys cant escape what they came from, they will always be compared, like brothers.
Lots of love

Cicatriz E.S.P. is still my fav song, it hasn't changed at all since the demos, gotta love those mow town organ licks..fantastic, this song reminds me alot of Physical Graffiti by Led Zeappelin and some of the live jamming of 'the song remains the same' in the film by the same name (listen to 5:35 mins into Cicatriz E.S.P. and onward), gigantic song lengths, you have to be a pretty amazing band to hold your audience for 12mins on one song, and these guys have got me hooked.

Real Groovy, pre ordered.
You are in for a treat.

P.S. sparta who?
Just got it.........fucken great.
But that is some seriously bad art work.
God i'm hanging out for my copy........ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Thanks to a good friend ;) its been fun listening to all the e.p, leaked demos, final demos, and now the final album, some of the songs have totally changed during this production period with a few merging into single songs, its been throughly interesting.
I dont know about the art work tho..........'they' say there are two covers so I hope the second cover is better then the golden head.
This band rules, thank god 4 afros.
Go to the Comatorium for all good info : http://www.thecomatorium.com

The Cardigans rule my loin cloth, have done since I was 15 when I grabbed a copy of their 'Life' album........just cos the cover looked cool mmmmmmmmmmmmm retro lounge lovin.
Their second album just didnt do it for me, but Gran Turismo is like their OK Computer man is that a good album, listen to it like 3 times a week.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Actually im digging this more and more........especially the Elvis breakdown, thats some fun fucken shit.
