It didn't take long...
Here's one of the first UK Datsuns fansites:

"In Love" is also Single of the Week in the NME and the boys are set to perform on CD:UK (crap, but very mainstream, music show here in the UK). I'm not sure how they'll sit alongside the seemingly endless stream of dire manufactured boy bands but here's hoping they get the success they deserve here. We urgently need saving from pop pap...
The D4 are currently NME.com's featured new artist in their On section and you can even listen to "Party" using the link below.
Blimey, everyone's going D4/Datsuns mad up here!

Love to mate. Haven't got tickets yet but I'll beg, borrow or steal some and let you know how they both go down in London.
And, yeah, the Arse are definitely on for the Double. Pity our cricketers aren't as good eh?
Tizard, they're playing upstairs at The Garage in Highbury, London on Wed 10th April, supported by The Datsuns. Get down there! 6 Twenty's out on Infectious later this month in the UK. Can't wait.
Yeah I suppose I am a bit of a lurker. Just watching and learning mate. Any news of Kiwi bands hitting London anytime soon? I need my Kiwi music fix!
As for the motel... Maybe a die-hard NZMer could get a photo of themselves next to the Kiwi Motel and thus prove themselves a true NZM Forums Hardcore. Something to add to that "Signs you're addicted..." topic. Could be T-shirt worthy, eh?
This is something that's been bugging me... Can anyone tell me where the slanted Kiwi photo used in these here forum pages comes from? I'm sure I saw the sign on some building somewhere when I was hooning round the South Island last year but I can't remember where. It was one of those - hey, that's the NZM forum sign! - sad, geeky, NZM-obsessed moments. Think of it as a challenge...
Even better -- those nice BBC people have linked to NZM on the Shihad and Kog pages. Have a look on the right-hand side under Web Links.
Cheers for the hits, Auntie!

Stefan, on the topic pages, if you click on the headings above each column (i.e. topic name, posts, visits, started and last post) you can sort ascending/descending by that, um, bit of information. Not sure what you mean by listing today's posts - if you scroll down on the forums main page, you get the most recent posts in date order. I really like PEACHES_HEAD's messaging idea - over to you Joe ;-)
Dusty, Teina, Bert, Joe, Mark, Chris and everyone at Morse - big respect for yet ANOTHER award! For those of you out in NZM land that don't know, this site is produced by a *very* small group of fantastic people who love NZ music so much that they use their many and considerable talents to produce NZM for FREE. So when they beat much bigger commercial rivals to win their category at the National Interactive Awards it's a very wonderful thing. It's just like how NZ bands continually box above their weight by producing world-beating music. I miss you guys! -- an ex-Morse Pom who's "homesick" for Aotearoa.
Cheers, Jimi. It's really great to get positive feedback from the members because, after all, it's your website and we want to make NZM the best it can possibly be! And what's more, there's even more cool things to come over the next few weeks...
Actually Deek, we've got a funky new Gigs section under development which will have its own forum for all you guys to let everyone else know which gigs sucked and which went off. Stay tuned!
"Jesus I Was Evil" - Darcy Clay. The man was genius. Or "Calling On" - Weta. It's a tragedy we won't get to hear anything new from either.
Looks good guys. Loving the standards compliancy. Good to see NZM at the cutting edge: everything zips along super-fast without the old bloated table-based design. Hope the switch-over wasn't too painful Joe!
