We are looking for a drummer for our lo-fi-alt-country-indie group. We currently have 4 people playing acoustic + electric guitars, bass + double bass, accordian, flute, glockenspiel and melodica, with both male + female vocalists.

Our influences are things like Iron & Wine, Songs Ohia, Wilco, Calexico, Sufjan Stevens, Cat Power, P_ano, Reindeer Section etc...

no I don't sing with the upbeats. You must be thinking of somebody else. I mostly just sing with my guitar.

I am a female vocalist in wellington looking for other musicians to work with. I am into anything from indie folk to jazzy electronica. I would really like to work on something similar to massive attack/portishead. I am also open to experimental vocals in a sigur ros, do say make think, mogwai kind of style. Other stuff I am listening to: grandaddy, the flaming lips, wilco, radiohead, ninjatune label, jazzanova, calexico, jill scott, air. Most stuff that isn't top 40 really.
