Ha! I feel that so deeply... I had a few great ficticious-band names lined up myself. Unfortunately all of them reeked of 80's metal for some reason.
Perhaps the next step will be to stop spelling things backwards and get downright offensive in a band name.
Like #*!^s r#*^t for example.
Yeah - leading two lives at the moment! Empire on Waitangi Friday (we always chuck a few of ours in!) and Masonic on Friday 13th (hopefully everyone won't just go to the cricket...). That's our official CD launch gig thing.
Cheers for voting! Might see you on Friday?
I love that video too - nice concept. I'm keen to see them live, would I be right in guessing they'd put on a great show?
Because he "left it to the pros" and got "ripped off", is why.

Cool bro - I've been reading your comments on some of these forum and it seems we share many ideas when it comes to the realities of music promotion. Wish we'd taken more time to chat when we played that gig wit' us fullas!
//leave that shit to the pros and stop trying to do everything yourselves
I'm sure David Tua would agree whole-heartedly with this ideal.
Lack commitment and lose sight of the goal! Word. Never a truer phrase uttered. I would add that many goals set are not smart or realistic enough.
As for never having friends as your manager, we DID appoint a friend as our manager and it has been the single smartest thing we ever did as this person has kicked our (naked?) arses into shape in a business context.
I wish I knew the story behind this whole Indigo thing - it sounds freakin good.
There are different degrees of hurt in this world.
Some people have slagged off our music, saying it's just too darn hooky. Others have looked down at us for playing covers at popular central Auckland venues in order to pay for our passion. Still others have scoffed at certain members for wearing sunglasses inside when the UV factor, in truth, doesn't warrant it.
But, for the sake of your own health, never
never
touch the name.
We implore you.
