BUT! This is a CD review. Man, what are you looking for in a CD? You're pretty harsh! They have encorporated quite a few nifty pieces here and there around the album that make the songs a lot more musical than you think.

Its not ok for the --> pasifika beats type music <-- to be played at the ROCKquest, they have their own competition to have it played at. Its nothing about race or whatever. Don't be so vacant.
SO lets hold a rifle shooting competition... and have someone who happens to own a rocket launcher, rock up and enter the competition.
Im not saying the pasifika bands are better, im just saying its bullshit entering when its not for them.
But the organisers cant really stop them in the middle of their extreme 7 minute set and say "oh excuse me, you are in the wrong competition. Put your shoes on and get off the stage please."

Hey guys, Im the drummer from a band called "acalmbefore". We only just started up a couple of months ago and have had one gig with antagonist a couple weeks back. We are all very much into new age metal like killswitch, as i lay dying, lamb of god, the agony scene etc etc. We are based in rotorua, one guitarist is from dorkland (auckland) and have a practice room and PA.
We are looking for a keen 2nd guitarist to join our band. So yeah if you are keen to jump on the band wagon, or know anyone who would be, please message me asap.
The successful applicant (sound like a job interview) must:
be able to take the piss
be able to have piss taken
have a nice guitar rig, or plan on having one very soon
experience would be nice, especially for stage reasons.
be able to practice in rotorua as im a selfish drummer and want to practice in my band room with my drums. hot dang.
