try again next time tonikins if thats what you want to do... if youre talking about broadcasting school down in chch, then its really hard to get in... they only accept somethign like 30 odd people per course per year...
if i get in im hoping to start a teaching degree in the middle of this year :) my heart was definately not in to my BA... such a waste of time last year was... :S

last night i heard that america had given 50million, and that that was just the beginning, plus they were sending medical and forensic experts, supplies and troops to help out... still pales in comparison to the war amount, however...

shop around is my recommendation and dont let sales people talk you in to anything... set aside one afternoon to plan out and go to all the places you want to visit and compare prices for different brands and levels of technology. If youre happy to search online (good idea because then you can avoid the sales people either until you need to go in to a shop, or all together) then check out places like noelleemings online store, for example... they often have internet deals as well.
NB i got mine at noelleemings but the sales people there (and at all of their shops that we visited) were very off putting.. though there is a guy (if youre in auckland ~cant remember sorry its been awhile) in new market called dennis. he's a little asian guy and is really good and not pushy or anything. and will try and find you the best deal, not try and make you buy the most expensive laptop on offer.

Libelle : 9 April 2004 - 10:09pm

school singing was cool...
i remember J1: "the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round.. the wheels on the bus go round and round... all day looooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg"
and from form 1 camp... the lemon tree song, that song.. argh.. stumming my pain with his fingers...stealing (?) my life with his words.... killing em softly with his song, killing me softly...dadadum... and oasis... wonderwall...
you gotta hate high schools for only having the school songs and if youre lucky at the end of 3rd and fourth form some christmas carols...
shoulda never left the choir...

i want to say thank you to the vodafone lady.. think her name was susan.. who i talked to this morning...
lost my phone on thursday night... thankfully (being me) i had most of my contacts numbers saved away elsewhere, but there were a few which i hadnt managed to save anywhere else.. thank you to her for searching through my records and finding them for me =)
i hate you but i love you vodafone...

Libelle : 4 April 2004 - 9:12pm

Vodafone... *sigh* stupid fools... they actually still think they have the youth market?
i still have my vodafone... but as of tomorrow il be using telecom... im not trading in my vodafone.. but i certainly wont be using it... the change to telecom may be slow.. but if they can get loyal costumers like me to change... as sson as people realise that theyre being screwed around being on vodafone they'l leave... vodafone just doesnt realise cos we keep our phones...
im (as people who spend 20+ dollars a week have been called) a textaholic... i can easily spend $20 a week... in a year thats looking at over $1000 in credit... however...on telecom... new phone $300, plus a years worth of credit $120.... yeah its so worth staying with vodafone...
vodafone think they are a market leader? if they were they would have been intelligent enough to have done something along these lines this first..

Libelle : 1 April 2004 - 2:06am

-stupid public transport being so useless in auckland... the reason why people stay in their cars is so evident when it takes me 40 minutes to get to just new market... (usually a 5minute drive) ...an hour to get to civic center... on what would be only 10,15 minutes had i driven instead (not including parking time)....
-went for a walk all the way down queen street then all the way back up to uni, for no reason what so ever...
-saw random guy dressed only in a work shirt, boxers, shoes and socks and carrying a brief case, wandering around town... all day... strange people..

Libelle : 28 March 2004 - 11:32pm

must be that time of year... another guy needing to go shopping... and needing shopping advice...
-knitwear... depends what kinda style you like... casual but still bit upmarket- v neck jumpers... more casual: norm jumpers with zip from neck down to top of chest kinda thing... no round neck knit stuff... unless you know how to wear a collared shirt under it and still make it look good... alot of guys cant manage that...
-denim substitute... jackets-leather or suede... pants etc... go look... just remember black makes it look more formal...
(yes iv been shopping several times with guys in the last week... i could tell you all the shops to go to...quite sad really..)

Libelle : 27 March 2004 - 6:15pm
