i must admit ive worn earplugs playin live. but its really awesome if u sing as well. u dont even need monitors with earplugs in, even just one earplug- however- if the music out front is too loud? blame the sound man!!!! ( or the guitarist)

worst bands? 'strait jacket fits'was far worse than zed! I dont think ther was any decent bands until 'the dudes'. Tim Finn is a complete whacko idiot. NE1 see his piano version of 'Isee red' on that nz music documentary. Iturned the channel while he sang it......watched a bit of what was on the other side......turned it back.....and the wrecker was still going!!! TIM....DONT DO THAT AGAIN!!!!

the judges are looking for the one brilliant idol, with the ability to make nz shine at the next world idol. if you think your rap is good enough..? then hell yeah.
Personally, i think u should sing your way through until the peoples choice stage, and THEN bust ya rhymes. Rap is HUGE.BUT with the PEOPLE-NOT the judges. Good luck dude. c u there.
