This is the post I am refering to.
//Am I the only person in NZ that thinks Goldenhorse is one of the WORST bands in the country. I hate it when us Kiwis follow what other people say is good, just because THEY think that it is good music. In fact her voice is the most irritating voice I have ever heard and the songs they write are childish with no real passion. When is NZ going to stop promoting "safe" bands and put talented people on the radio?
ps I think she is georgeous looking but please leave singing to people that can.
Dark Angel //
I just heard your new single.
I suggest you don't go slagging off Kirsten Morelles voice anymore.
just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
a tale of a fateful trip
that started on this tropic morn
aboard this tiny ship
the mate was a mighty sailing man.... etc
my favourite show growing up.
I've seen Blair play about 3 times in London. He is a beautiful songwriter, has the voice of an angel, and is magnetic on stage.
Don't miss this show!
Heh. I was back, and now im back in London. It was a wicked day...
Don't worry Hollis, we saw Steve Able play somewhere else that night.
He was amazing.
Im still smiling.
He is the 'guy of her dreams'
He is in the loo, and then in the bed at the end.
Im just watching a euro-dance version of Beds are Burning sung by two blonde girls in red perspex boxes.
Im not sure what all this means.
Prozaco I totally agree with you.
The odd occasion that I used to wander into the Rock Shop, I would get no service, and if I asked questions they responded with puzzled expression as if they didn't understand why I would want to know how easily the bridge could be lowered. It used to drive me crazy. Once, when I was 14, a guy bulldozed me into buying a lipstick pink charvel because it was a real 'chicks' axe. I need not explain how this went on to effect my cred.
No, Prozaco, I completely agree... music shop dudes are completly sexist.
And just try to get a job in one if you're a girl.
Nite all...
Yes better than Big Brother.
Although trying to imagine what the Christmas party will be like, given that our biggest stars (Fred Flintstone, Cow and Chicken and the Power Puff Girls) are all animated. I wonder if they'll get pissed?
'leave the singing to those who can'
Kirsten is a trained Opera singer with over 20 years performance experience, her control and tone is clear and consistant. If you don't like the sound of her voice, that's one thing, but to say the girl can't sing is a joke.
