im with u on that one, Ivan is so sweet we hung out with for half an hour or so after they played at our school. Kick ass...best concert thats been to our school... then i went and saw them again the next day at rockquest regionals hugged ivan when he came down and saw me. Good Show. i went out and bought their EP after that
That was the completely wrong song to show of Falter, believe me i've seen them like 6 or 7 times this year and last year and that was the worst id heard them, you wouldve had to see the other songs they performed (Splinter and Falling to Pieces) before you could judge them. The harmonising was so wrong for that song but its amazing in the others. Simon did win bets vocals for a reason and thats because he can sing....
Dont take my word for it, but i think my friends guitar teacher does recordings in a shed in CHCH, dunno you'll have to ask Aviatour

I have to say i love their new stuff, i mean i dont know any of u or anything but i bet most of you arent making a name for yourself as much as they have. I think most of the population of Christchurch would have to disagree with all of you specially the 200+ that packed into the Civic and out the front just to see them play. Zed are amazing and i have to agree with Gashed, it bugs me when people start bagging other peoples music, its hard enough for us local bands to get recognised without having haters out there. We should support Kiwi music no matter what form it comes in
Well i like it....Zed are an awesome kiwi band and its so great to know they're sort of making a name for themselves over in America. Go the CHCH bands!!!
I havent actually heard u guys yet, so ill be waiting for next week on the rockquest on tv2. But u know a punk rock band whod love to open for Rancid cant be to bad! I love Rancid....Tim, Lars, Brett and Matt kick ass!!!
Starlet kick ass! I taped it, Out of that semi i liked: Mission Gizzard,Starlet,5th Element (i know the bass player!), and i think Purjury (sp?) had a good sound, the lead singer was funny too. But wait for next week when Falter and The Rabble come on!
I just voted for you guys...Theres a couple of bands in there that are my mates and that are friends of friends....cough..dukes...cough. I hope you guys get to play cos itll do some good for us CHCH bands!!

The Falter boys are doing a backing track for the Discovery Channel this weekend, some skateboarding thing then thyere off to Aucks on tuesday till friday to record and then the week after theyre going back to do the video. They deserved every little bit they won. By the way thanks guys for letting us use the music room to practice in while u guys are up north! are they just the nicest?
Because according to Dave Gibson all ages tour cost heaps to do, and R18 gigs are cheaper...
