A tattoo parlour is opening there, just bands playing on opening night I think

stephd : 5 November 2005 - 10:47pm

Well it does cost a shitload to be in a band for a start

stephd : 24 July 2005 - 2:51am

Ordering one of those VEGE deli delights or whatever they're called and it coming with a huge slice of meat in the middle has probably been my highlight of the drive through

stephd : 28 March 2005 - 7:30pm

www.elevenfiftyseven.com, www.foamyed.com, www.puppykillerrecords.co.nz.... most popular bands probably, have a look on punkas.com too - pretty much all nz punk bands are on there

stephd : 27 February 2005 - 12:29am

//20. ? --Foamy Ed (I forget her name, do you know?)

Aimee Banks and Mieke van der Walle - they've got two guitarists now

stephd : 24 October 2004 - 9:25pm

stephd : 26 August 2004 - 12:45am

Very very good

stephd : 18 August 2004 - 2:57am

They're playing on friday night actually, been writing for a couple of months though, Aimee has rejoined on guitar so now they're a 5 piece I do believe

stephd : 22 June 2004 - 1:25am

Lauren yeah, I'll tell them that tomorrow!

stephd : 22 June 2004 - 12:55am

What'd you think of catch revolution, they're my friend's band so I'm quite curious...

stephd : 18 June 2004 - 3:47am

They're called Fever Lake these days, I don't know if they have a site though

stephd : 19 May 2004 - 12:57am

I thought the KA gig on the 28th was Dead Letter, Losing Face and Holdfast?

stephd : 9 May 2004 - 10:26pm

I saw them the other weekend and they do indeed have a new drummer

stephd : 6 May 2004 - 1:15am

People do it all the time.... think rugby, netball etc

Loyal is quite a tolerable song, I wouldn't put it on a mix tape or anything, but it's well written

I think Ruth's voice is great

stephd : 21 April 2004 - 11:46pm

They were never actually booked for that show, and didn't even know they were supposed to be playing it, so that probably explains why they didn't show up

Yeah I agree, and to be honest, if someone burns me a whole cd and I don't like it, it will just save me returning it to the shop, and if the cd is really good, I'll go out and buy it.

Mix CDs are great

stephd : 13 April 2004 - 3:33pm

These guys will be playing at Dorkfest at Lifeboat Studios in New Lynn on April 17th

7.30 start and all ages

stephd : 12 April 2004 - 11:34pm

I remember one show of The Managers, Bleeders, Losing Face, Ritalin and We Dunno I think

I can't really remember details beyond a few months ago haha

stephd : 12 April 2004 - 11:12pm

I've seen quite a few shows with 5 bands for 5 bucks there, never mind.

'Twas a good show, congrats to the organiser

stephd : 12 April 2004 - 9:31pm

Well not high, but higher than the usual 5 or 7 dollars

stephd : 12 April 2004 - 9:30pm

Well I didn't like any of the bands aside from The Bleeders and Losing Face are pretty decent, so it wasn't that enjoyable til the end of the night, which made up for the wait.

I saw a lot of new faces there too. What was with the high door charge?

stephd : 8 April 2004 - 7:52pm

Around what time are each of the bands playing?
