Check out the Demo on our Website called "Theft" It has a bit of an Old School Tool Flavour... I read your profile and I think you may like it... Cheers
Well... Prehaps your right... Maybe insecure is the wrong way to think about... Its more the fact that we put a lot of work into our music and stupid jokes make it seem like a waste of time... I don't spend much time on these forums so prehaps thats normal comment? That crap Hun wrote seemed really childish and I presume he is some kid, so I reacted as such... Any way do you play Bass :-)
An apology for the above Nut Case ‘Hun’ I am not sure what kind of point he is trying to prove, or why but please disregard his comments... I suspect that the poor Guy once had ambitions of being in a band and now that he is Fat, Balding and questioning his sexuality... He wants to try and discourage everyone else, due to jealousy arising from his own impotence ... Anyway ignore the Freak... Have Fun Cheers...
Listen Funny Boy... Why don't you sneak a nip of your Mums Christmas Sherry... Grab your Dads Dirty Magazines sit in the Corner and Fuck Off and Die... MMMK
Also Hun... Viscera are playing at the Valve Bar in Wellington on the 18th of September... Here's an idea... Come to the show... Introduce yourself... And make your above comments in person... That would certainly double the fun... But I'm sure you won't... Because that night is probably Queer fuckers night at Barneys and you would not miss it for the world... Would You? Dick Head... Cheers...
No man sorry we are not associated with that group of people... Viscera, a Latin word translated, simply means internal organs... I am really sorry to disappoint you as you obviously know a lot about Homosexual groups and take a keen interest and following in there activities... I know a few guidance councillors who might be able to provide you with some number for support groups if your finding it hard to come to terms with your homosexuality... Its certainly not mine, or my bands field of expertise though... Thanks for wasting my time anyway... Cheers
Maybe your right... Although seeing as I want as many people as possible to view the add... Maybe I'm right... I guess we will never know... Cheers...

Hello…
My name is Matt Edwards and I play in the Wellington band Viscera.
Due to a family crisis our current bass player has had to leave the band and return to Christchurch to be closer to his family.
For this reason we’re looking for a replacement.
I’d like to give you the opportunity to apply.
Some things you should know:
- While it’s difficult to categories the bands sound entirely we consider ourselves a progressive metal group whom aim to retain a commercial element.
- We’re professional people and take our music seriously.
- Our music can at times be complex and a challenge to play technically although this means individual members of Viscera have the opportunity to express themselves and their instrument while challenging their own ability technically. We’ll also be fully supportive to a new member while they learn the material.
Further to this, Viscera will be relocating to Europe next year. This isn’t a spur of the moment decision the move has been planned for the last 12-18 months.
We have a brand new album coming out very shortly which has been cut with Neil Maddever (One of New Zealand’s top engineers) and we fully expect to go to Europe with some level of record label support.
If you would like to be a part of Viscera then this is something you’ll need to consider and be prepared to do.
Please don’t worry about the cost of the exercise, if you become a member of the band the only expectation on you apart from that of a normal band member will be that you have equipment of a high standard and that you’re able to obtain travel papers necessary for Europe. Most New Zealander’s won’t have any problem with obtaining these.
You'll also need to be brave and prepared to work hard and make sacrifices for your music.
If this sounds like an interesting opportunity please get in touch vie phone or email and we can talk.
I’ll provide you with some music on an expression of interest.
Best regards
Matt Edwards
