if the kiwi pulls through (and it will!) wouldnt it be a good thing to represent new zealand by? wouldnt show that we are a country of survivers and that we are successful... or something along those lines

i thought that when i was little... which admittidly wasnt that long ago... that they were going to change the flag to a red kiwi, at the time i knew quite a bit about it, but then if i made the theory up then of course i would know a lot about it.

but instead of a fern a kiwi would be better because we are known as 'kiwis' so therefor its more symolic and represents us better

people from wellington manage to get up to auckland every year... i cnat see why aucklanders cant return the favour

i agree we have no where to go so lets take up up with the councils... all over the country they are chucking up new venues for things so why do we have to miss out on all the good stuff?!

i went into town and terrorised the towns people. . .mayb if u live in wellington and you were around lambton & cuba u might have seen us . . . a pirate, a goth, the blind gun man(blood coming out from under the sun glasses and destroyed wings), little dead riding hood and a thing with orange wings . . . obviously the one who did not really belong to the group . . . hahaha of course the last was me :P

it was a good time tho and the best bit was the weird looks that people gave us az we passed by. . .and then catching them turning around once they had passed us to have another look. . .haha classic!!

very true statement there are somethings where it is difficult to go against the majority. . .i think its cruel to teach kids all that shit and personally im not going to tell my kids about it untill they ask and then let them make their own decisions, i'm not going to encourage stoopid behaviour like that tho and if they choose to believe in santa there is no way that i am going to get the extra presents. . .

I do feel sorry for the kids that are taught that those things do exist only to have their dreams crushed when they hit primary. . .plain cruel of the parents. . .

ok ive only been to a couple of concerts . . . grr the mother . . . and i've never worn earplugs. But i was wondering . . . wouldnt they interfere with the music that is being played, like distort it or something, make it so that you cant hear the lyrics? i've heard that they are a really good idea and im all for saving my ears from death, but im skeptical . . . can somebody clear up my concerns?
