Who has the best, the worst, or just one worth reading?

Do people actually read them? will my popularity increase if i write something worthwhile in mine?

Oh go back to friendster! I think the NZm popularity contest ship has sailed once people stopped playing with their top fives all the time.

Having said that, I read people's profiles if their posts catch my attention in good or bad ways, and I hate it when interesting people don't give out more details. Everyone should fill in their profiles. It makes judging people that much easier.

it's like nzm without the music and forums and... actually it's just a bunch of arse, nothing ever seems to happen there. or maybe i don't have any real friendsters.

The arse bit.

The only way you get any consistent activity is friendster-fishing - you know - meet someone once, discover they're on friendster and friend them the next day...or send out emails to every one of your friends not on friendster, so your friends list fills up with half-interested friendster profiles for people that never put up a photo, make two or three other friendsters, write maybe one good testimonial, lurk for a few weeks then never log in again.

Oh, and increase your cool rating by friendstering bands (that friend every single person that adds them) - easy way to make your friends list really big and uber-trendy without actually doing any work.

*And* their messaging service is still really shonky.

Oh, and the bulletin board thing - it might work pretty well except for all the chain letters that go round. Surveys are ok, I guess, except everyone on friendster has identical taste in - well, just about everything...but getting 12 identical chain letter posts in a row from different people...what's that about???

meh, it's all arse...Aka, all the actual musicians to whom you've extended the most hospitable - errr - hospitality available south of the equator *would* put you at the top of their lists except they don't bother registering on the forums because all the bitchiness is so depressing. Also for some reason musicians that do register seem to be really crap at filling out their profiles.

Also, I think my actual score is seriously exaggerated because the SVS-Heather's-a-dumb-slut-machine & associates put me at the top of their lists just to piss me off.
