lyric help

hello. i spent 2.5 months in new zealand. it was wonderful. sadly it had to come to an end and i am back in canada.

there was a song on the radio i heard quite frequently and could never find out what it was.

it starts with "if i give you a mic would you give me a hand".

i was wondering if anyone could help me out with an artist and track name.

This is Sheelahroc's "If I gave U th' mic", it is on a couple of compilations (Loop 3 and the RadioActive 25: Silver Selections") and on someone's CD (Rhian Sheehan maybe, I've been unable to find it recently) as a nice remix. Unfortunately there's no MP3 on this site, but if you search you'll find one elsewhere.

thanks!! hopefully i can find it somewhere ... so much of the stuff i heard in NZ i can't find back home. you guys seem to have the same problem as us in that a lot of your music doesn't make it out of the country. it is a shame!!
