(chagrin) God, you're both so unimaginative. Without wanting to lapse too voluble in my praises of modern technology, the internet (nzm in particular) has afforded me a more thriving RL social life than I've ever had before, with very little effort. Tama, Invercargill is like death. Move to Auckland. Saul, go have a game of tennis.

I don't mean the internet is boring (well sometime it can be a lot) I come on the net to escape boredom.
What I should have wrote is the internet is because of boredom for me.
I've meet a lot of cool interesting people & plus get to know all the new info/news on my favourite bands before tv & mags get it. I don't hate the net, just don't like computers.
And here we go again bad mouthing Invers, reason why I'm here?? mainly family & friends plus I can't afford to move. I don't think I even what to live in Auckland either, its not that great, only good thing is they have a better music sence & most of the international bands go there.

Saul_Hudson: do ever catch the 44 bus? There was a dude on there about two months back wearing a civil war era coat I thought of you. The bus was heading to Strathmore - was it you? If not, were you the dude on same route a week later heading in the other direction? This guy was clean shaven but dressed like a rocker - headscarf Ian Astbury style and cowboy hat. A real sour looking fucker toying with a zippo. I was the guy opposite you reading the comic.

Scruffy facial hair - maybe 3 or 4 days growth.Shoulder length greasy hair. Yankee style jacket. I'm thinbking glasses, but the other guy definitely wasn't wearing glasses.

The other dude only reminded me of you because I reckon you'd be partial to a bit of Fire Woman or She Sells Sanctuary and the dude on the bus to Khandallah was for sure.

that's me, man. hair needs a cut, i rarely shave and i gots glasses. I have a blue jacket i got from ziggurat a little while back that looks civil war-ish. i'm on the 44/43/45 busses every working day.

Davewc & Inoautistic - It coulda been you two guys, how cool is that? I'm on the 44 into town most mornings and one or the other in the evenings. I'm the pudgy dude in the polar fleece.

And while I'm apologising here no offence was intended with the "sour" comment, it's just that you (or whoever) didn't look happy at all when I sat in front of you. Probably cos you had one of those backward facing seats.

Have you heard about how they're phasing out either the 43 or 44 route? That's going to suck.
